While ins ome respects i agree with you pee dubya, I think what he has is potential but he already thinks he is great which if you compare him to owen etc who were already automatic starters for their clubs at his age then you have to question is that application or is he not as talented as everyone would have you believe because lets be honest he hasnt had a barrage of world class, consistent strikers keeping him out has he

My opinion is that yes he is a good player no doubt is he a special talent who will go on to become an england great, jurys out on that one!

He was good in a game where he came on and set up Robinho with that ridiculous pass, and he scored a goal to cap it off, the Schalke game, then in highlights I've seen of his goals from MOTD, a lot of the goals he scores shows his shooting technique.

He is similar to Fowler with his technique imo but not as good with his head yet. He will score some spectacular goals in future. He came on at half time v Stoke at home, we were 1-0 up and he brilliantly set up Robinho for two more. Robbie even got down on one knee to shine his left boot. He would suit playing off a target man as his skills link the play well.

Yes, and? Just because he SAID something (say) 2 months ago, doesn't mean he didn't try to remedy it earlier, does it? He had a lot on his plate in june anyway...

but hughes said he was going to sort out dunnie's contract and he did , so he must of been aware of other player's contracts aswell i.e sturridge
