We beat Sunderland but lose to Leicester. Tactics are very important but our manager doesnt really give a shit.

Or you could watch the games and realize we had very little defending to do. Which made the CBs look better

ha - the irony.

Even for you, this is some statement. Take two of the games. Away to Everton, away to Palace. Both had >40% possession and 10 shots on goal. But the defence kept them to a combined 3 shots on target and no goals. The very definition of the defence doing its job.

The complete antithesis of what has gone on since Kompany was laid up.

They won it with an ageing team of pro's. Last chance saloon for a lot of them. From memory they had an outside left called Jimmy Leadbetter who looked about fifty but used to sling crosses in for fun, usually finished by Ray Crawford, a centre forward in the Derek Kevan mould.

Cheers. I just googled it. Was only born at the end of that season.

If we lose to this, I don't think I have enough whiskey to numb the pain.

He looks like the cartridge was running low when they tried to print him.

Garunteed 10 man defence at all times by Sunderland.
It's gonna take a while to break them down !!!
There's no excuse for losing this game !!!

We need a confidence booster before leicester, 2 good wins and the world will look a whole lot different. We are going to have a major amount of possession and I worry about our weakness for getting caught on the break, 4-1 win and boost our goal difference back up a little

I think we will go 442 today with Aguero and Bony starting. Don't know why, just a feeling. And if we play well - same again at Leicester/Watford who also play it.

I'd like to see Nacho in the 442 with Bony. Ease Aguero back in gently as a sub in second half. Same with Kompany.
