@BBCSport: More from Mancini: “It’s important that our strikers start scoring more goals, sometimes we take one touch too many." http://t.co/6bRIcy74

He said it there... "One touch too many"

I dont wanna hear that shit again!

For me he's got to go. Not because of losing narrowly to shite teams or only just beating the shite teams, but because of our lack of cutting edge. It's virtually the same players from last season out on the pitch and we were a joy to watch last year. This year it's like pulling teeth. I think Mancini has lost the desire and hunger after last seasons dramatic title win and looking around at all the backroom staff coming in makes me think he knows his cards are marked. We used all our luck up last season IMO and over the road seem more hungrier to snatch the trophy back in May. 8 points was nothing last year cos of the way we were playing, this year 7 points looks like a mountain to climb.

Every fecking time. Not sometimes.

Bad day at the office, no doubt, but troubling thing is that we AWAYS play poorly against teams that set out to defend with 10 men and hit us on the break. I would hope that the 3-5 coaches we have on the payroll could actually see, understand and counteract that simple philosophy. Unless we score in the first half, we start to lose the plot in the latter stages.

With Dzeko on and Sinclair on the bench, Zaba playing on his "wrong" side, why on earth did Sinclair not get a chance and told to pump the ball into the 6-18 yard hole at every opportunity? If what we saw today (Lescott playing upfront with Dzeko) is going to be Plan B/C, then we might as well put in a cheeky bid for David James and use him as our 4th striker!

A LOT of poor performances today and the game at Norwich will not be any easier. Time for City to get a finger out.....because unless Mancini is promising the FA Cup, he is going to be struggling for a trophy in May.

Didn't put one single quality cross in to create a chance.Especially when we had Dzeko on the field which was really disappointing.Javi Garcia couldn't keep up with the pace.Really Disappointing.
Correct and not hard to work out why when 4 full backs out.

Don't know why Sinclair keeps getting a place on the bench but doesn't feature

God knows how many points behind United and the Chavs are catching up. Not good at all, not good. This has got to change, sloppy games against midtable sides is simply not good enough, and if this continues to happen then it's goodbye 2nd title in a row. This has to be the last.

Hmmm...smells a bit this one.

Expect a few more of the red cunts too....saying that some of our own are just as bad.

since Wigan away:

Pld: 6 W: 2 D: 1 L: 3 GS: 7 GC: 7 GD: 0.

Not good enough, nowhere near good enough considering bar 30 minutes in the first half v Newcastle we haven't played well at all in that period.

Mancini isn't getting anywhere near enough out of this side, the tactics and formations during the game are either non-existent or inept and there is only so much you can blame on Marwood. At the end of the day the vast majority of these players were here last season and they're playing worse.

United aren't very good but what they have up their sleeve that will bail them out time and time again is that they can score from anything, stick the ball in the box and RVP or Rooney or Hernandez will stick it in, that's the difference from last season, it isn't Danny Welbeck on the end of these loose balls in the box, it's Van Persie, and he's fucking deadly.

Meanwhile our attacking talent can't hit a barndoor with a banjo.

The more this run goes on considering the competition(or lack of it) we have makes me lean more and more to doubting Mancini, 3 or 4 more defeats like someone said before means no title and means FA Cup only and sadly in anyone's book that will be a failure.

3 1-0 defeats away at Sunderland in 3 consecutive seasons. You know what that tells me? Mancini isn't learning his lesson, in fact it's pretty damn obvious he isn't seeing as the squad still has the same deficiencies and lack of Plan B that we were discussing 2 seasons ago.

It's there is black and white! Bingo!

I know we didn't have wingers last season but look at how effective they can be when you watch United! Valencia, Young, Nani and Giggs (to an extent) just drill the ball in the box. No wonder van Nistlerooy was such a good buy for them. Hernandes the same! We don't even have that option.

We've played two teams who have put 10 men behind the ball in past 2 games. We've struggled to create anything and won luckily with...wait for it...a fucking cross.

I'm not asking Mancini to play wingers, but at least consider that option considering how used to overlapping our full backs are!

Playing as champions is much harder because every team treats it like a cup final, as other posters have pointed out. This really shouldn't be a problem for the players that we have, but it is. I know it's nearly impossible to walk the ball into the net with 10 men defending, so that's when we need to be mixing it up with some pacey wingers and big units in the box (and by big units in the box I don't mean Joleon fucking Lescott).

Because of the cup final mentality that teams now employ against us it was vital to push on in the summer and improve the squad - sadly we regressed. The only summer signing I'm really chuffed with is Nastasic, the rest of them I'm not impressed with. Garcia and Rodwell will no doubt come good, but at this point we can't be hoping and praying, we need top class players to help us overcome the cup final mentality we're met with in every game. I know Nige wanted to leave so retaining him was out of the question, and I know Johnson wanted to leav too, but we still has the bulk of last season's players and none of them are really turning it on this year.

Mancini doesn't have a plan B or a plan C which if frustrating, because you end up with 90 minutes of us running into a wall of defenders. If it's crap for us to watch it must be awful to play in that system knowing you're getting nowhere.

For what it's worth I'd ship Tevez and Balotelli out, bring in Falcao and Cavani, possibly Fellaini and Baines too, and also a decent right back to cover Zabaleta in place of Maicon. Pie in the sky though with FFP looming large (and the fact we've already spent a lot of money on our squad).

As it is something has to change, we're not half as good as we were last season. Hanging players out to dry in press conferences hasn't worked so far, now Mancini must personally start to accept the blame for our woeful performances.

Manchester United have the worst team I can remember for a long time, we should be easily outpacing them in the league. Sometimes it's advantageous to be a few points off the pace to relieve pressure on the team, but if we keep performing as we are, United will be out of sight very soon.

I'm not in the Mancini out brigade, and I'm not saying we should go and spent zillions on new players - but something has to give otherwise we'll be lucky to finish in the top 3.

The thing is City created that situation out there by not hitting Sunderland hard enough in the opening half hour ....... and then gifting them a goalkeeping error of a goal !

And it just HAD to be Adam Johnson who scored it !

After Sunderland had taken the lead it was 'doubly' difficult to break them down , and we never really looked like doing it either!

You will have to wait until the end of the season for that to happen.
