Sunderland Vs City Post Game Discussion Thread

Did more than enough to win the game...Strikers not firing is what is costing us this season...3 good goal scoring opportunities went begging again today.
I'd rest Aguero for a game or two as he is not playing himself out of this slump however hard he tries.

Start Edin or Balo for next game.

As the last two games have shown this season is up and down.

Utd will lose again and there is plenty of time left to close the gap. Bad day at the office today.

Move on.

United behind twice and win. We fuck up at Sunderland (yet again). No title this season, IMO. And if we don't win the title, Mancini will be on very thin ice in the summer. It will be interesting to see how much money he's given to spend in January.

It really doesnt matter about not winning the title, even top managers dont do it every year. You have to challenge though, and the performances have to be indicative of such. At the moment our performances are poor, and we're not getting even close to what this team is capable of. As a result we're barely even in the race and its not even the new year. Thats unacceptable, completely and utterly.

Really cannot see us winning it now. The summer transfer window has cost us badly, we've not improved at all, if anything we're worse than last season. We've been poor in Europe, and our domestic form is starting to dip. Something really needs to change.

8 points behind last season and we came back

WE LOVE YOU CITY

Thats the spirit...COME ON CITY

Of course, come on City, we all want us to do well and we are all behind us but c'mon, let's not pretend or ignore the fact that things are not going as well as hoped for this season...instead of kicking on we seem to be worse than we were last season. And we came back last season by playing superbly and winning 6 straight in a manner that we have been no where near reaching so far this season

Terrible performance slow straight down the middle passing, weak shots and no plan B. Nightmare from Joe struggling to find a player who got above 5 in performance.

& points now think it's gone :(

Disappointed in Tevez and Aguero these past few matches, the chances have been there but nobody can seem to finish.

Let's grab the 3 points Saturday and move on, looks like the rags leaked in 3 today so they are still vulnerable.

7 pts behind and should be 9 really after last week, we scraped through yet again. Today we couldn't beat a average side, ok the keeper played really well and ours got beat again from 20+ yards.

We end up with Lescot uop front while Carlos is on the bench what the hell is that about, got to be really worried now if we will get that 2nd spot, Chelsea are on a decent run with QPR at home next, we won't score 6 at Morwich and Stoke will shut us out.

We look at shadow if the team last season and once again we plus other teams are giving Utd the title, really poor and certain players need to be looking at themselves, Joe Hart has made to many mistakes this season already.
