Swansea City vs Manchester City City Post Match Thread

to the people who are saying it wasnt important and its all about next week, get a grip, we still haven't secured second place! these players who are on a big wage, played in the champions league, won champions leagues, won world cups, premier leagues, they should all have a winning mentality and no matter what game it is, always want to win! but yesterday none of them look bothered, it summed up our season against the ''smaller teams''

Went to the game, don't think you can appreciate how good a side the Swans are unless you watch them live. The back four were unbeliveable and the first half they were cutting us up good and proper.

It was frustrating to watch second half, Dzeko couldn't give a monkies and at times we were frightened to shoot.

Agreed. We had several opportunities to pull the trigger but went for another touch. They were just in that kind of mood to score the perfect goal. We need to be more ruthless but your right laudrup has them playing some attractive stuff and we got carved open a few times in that first half.

Nailed on penalty at the death too. We were bullied.

Nice dancing swans......I blame them

The worrying thing for me is these away games really are getting predictable, like groundhog day.You can almost predict the outcome before the game. This has been going on for a couple of seasons and the management team and players don't appear to have a clue how to change it.

I feel these awaydays will decide Mancin's fate at the season's end,not if we win the cup or not, because if it doesn't change next seaon then we will have the same outcome and the rags will win the title again.

That was a long journey for a 0-0.

From where I was, it looked like Aguero and Milner worked their bollocks off but Silva, Yaya and to some extent Nasri couldn't be bothered. Thought Clichy had a stinker, his positioning was shocking and I still can't believe Dzeko missed, and to a lesser extent, that we didn't get a penalty for the two-hands-to-the-chest-push on Nasri.

Only positive was that Kompany and Nastasic dealt with Michu fairly comfortably; I'm not sure whether it was part of our game plan or Vinny just took it upon himself, but he seemed to be trying to man-mark Michu for the first half an hour, wherever he went on the pitch. It was noticeable that Michu was a lot less involved once he reverted back to proper defending though.
