Still depressed. He's still asking, almost pleading, "Davey'll be alright won't he?" He tried to take it out on a bloke called Matt Scott who was doing the business update, but Scott absolutely pulled his pants down and spanked him :) Scott was talking about the American economy and how it's bad 800,000 people weren't going to get paid and the knock on effect it would have. Brazil tried to have a dig back, calling him a "leftie" and that "it's just politics though isn't it, it's the Republicans putting the but in to Obama..." - was both surreal and embarrassing!

Enjoying it immensely. He seems to have moved on to "anger" on the 5 step model.

Forgot to add, they were banging on about the £50m war chest for wee Davey in January and all of a sudden it's £25m for Baines! I think that is where he got upset with that Matt Scott fella as he was explaining the impact on "cash at the bank" and other accounting things. He went on to talk about Herrera in Jan and how if they got Baines, it wouldn't leave enough for Herrera based on the war chest and ow the rags are apparently doing things now. Scott came out with a cracking line about the summer targets: "....half hearted attempts to sign players whose non-signing probably suited the club."

Absolutely spot on. Sralex is brilliant as well....it's exactly how he says it.

I love the 'Sralex asked them to give him time, and it's a 6 year contract, so they must honour Sralex's request as he's the greatest ever manager to ever manage any football team..........EVER'

After his minor spat with Matt Scott this morning, we are possibly seeing the transition to Anger - and there's still a whole three stages to go after that. I'm tempted to transcribe it all and palm it off to the BBC as a new comedy show, it's fucking brilliant.

The best bit for me is the way Cork said 'lets get it straight, WHOEVER took over this job it was going to be the biggest job in the world taking over from sralex after 200 years of him winning trophies.'

It's backs to the walls stuff. Are they telling me that any manager that went in after the pisscan would be struggling to win games and would only have 7 points after 6 games.

'He'll be alright won't he, were paaaalllsss, I have the upmost respect for Deeevveeeyyyyy'. Talksport is cracking entertainment at the moment, the united fan that called last night sticking up for the 'chosen one' and saying why aren't they slagging City off...then Durham drop kicked him with 'cause City battered you 4-1' was pure genius!!

Shit iv missed it this morning had plumber around doing bathroom with his ghetto blaster on Key 103, sounds hilarious though, looks like they have gone into save wee Davey mode
 
I have only caught brief snatches between signing on and popping to Wetherspoons, but it really does sound like an exercise in damage limitation and turd polishing.
They are almost Goebbels-esque in their use of propaganda - most of it actually seems aimed at convincing themselves rather than any listener daft enough to take them seriously.
Strongbow is perfectly correct - anyone who passes up on the unbridled joy and psychological Armageddon that this show provides live on air is missing out on one of life's true gems.
It's like eavesdropping on a class of kids with special needs undergoing collective cognitive behavioural therapy.
You know you really shouldn't laugh, but you just can't help yourself.

I'm just waiting for Blueband Brother to get back to me as to whether the state of Talksport presenters mental health is suitable comedy material or not.
 
It got pretty bad this morning...
Brazil actually came out with the words 'Poor Davey' it is so biased it really is funny.
He was then interviewing Jim Smith about the Derby Job and Steve McClaren and in an instant
he just turned the conversation to 'Davey' it was genuinely laughable. No matter who he is speaking to
or what the subject matter is he instantly defaullts to 'Davey'

As others have said it really is comedy gold these days and a 'must listen' for any Blue.
