Taylor for the Liverpool game

How I wish any debate was what it should be about, the 100% Sterling penalty (again) not given, rather than the nonsense about a potential red card for a tackle that wasn't even a foul. Ridiculous.
Absolutely mate, why isnt it being talked about, it was basically a fucking Rugby tackle

Anyway, what possible excuse could he have for not giving Raheem the nailed on penalty ? His view was not obstructed at all, he saw it perfectly and still refused to give it. Raheem was literally wrestled to the ground ! What sort of injury would the lad have to suffer in order to get a pen awarded ?

People are still divided on that Kompany challenge though, even with the benefit of slow motion replays from numerous angles. Virtually impossible for a ref to confidently call it in real time. I think often they just have to make an educated guess.

That's why I think he opted for the yellow.

Is thought it was definitely a pen. He had both arms wrapped around Sterling and stopped him from getting to the ball.

Absolutely mate. But how strange is that the media want everyone to focus on a decision that was, even with the most Scouse biased eyes 50/50, and yet completely ignore one that in anyones eyes is.....100%. Not a mention.

Actually Gav, a lot of dippers are convinced that Sterling fouled Robertson and should have been booked.

From reading some of the posts on here I'm surprised some City fans don't think he (Sterling) deserved a red. For something like "backing in aggressively when you have already beaten the opposition player".

Give over. I’ve not seen many City fans say it wasn’t a penalty?

No Ric you give over. My point is a lot of City fans are happy to follow the media agenda of discussing the Kompany tackle (50/50 at worst) whilst at the same time ignoring a blatant penalty (100%). We should be discussing the 100%.
