I gave you the answer. More immigration. For refugees/asylum seekers allow them to take jobs and contribute to society rather than trying to recreate a carry on version of a concentration camp.

More labour allows more building of homes, schools and infrastructure. We can then bring in more doctors, nurses, teachers and start building an economy fit for all of us. The ability to see a GP within a day, smaller class sizes for example

How can you tell if a property is council/housing association nowadays anyway?

The only way would be to look at Land Registry, which she obviously hasn't done. But if she did she'd probably find out that this family of "asylum seekers" if they exist, live in rented private accommodation or own the property themselves.

According to the governments own website - gov.uk it says over 11,000 albanians crossed in 2022 up to now. Politicians have also mentioned the number to be in the thousands.

The thousands ‘I speak of’ have been mentioned by most officials and lots of mps.

We will always have unfilled jobs. The answer can’t always just be let’s import millions of people to solve that, with no thought into infrastructure, investment or integration. Yes we need immigration, but it has to be sustainable and at a manageable rate.

This thread is about illegal immigration. Lots of the people crossing aren’t going into unfilled jobs and it’s costing huge amounts each year to house them in hotels.

We need immigration, but if your coming here illegally to take advantage of the system you should be deported. That’s a fair point and applies to pretty much every country in the world

It has been our answer for a century. From the Irish to West Indians to Asians and then East Europeans.

Our economy needs a constant flow of people. That’s how it works.

For context, the US relies on around 20 million illegal or undocumented people. Take them out and everything would grind to a halt.
