Some people don't understand the concept of innocent until PROVEN guilty and just repeat their ill informed prejudices. Lets hope those who refuse to accept that Terry did not call Ferdinand what he was accused of, never find themselves accused of something they did not do. I'm sure they would come to appreciate the Law a bit more.

Lol just like Harry rednapp, just like the bloke who raped an eight year old girl because she was wearing grown up clothes "it was ok", just like fergie and his loose bowel speeding farce....fuck should we go on....?

Let's face it this country is NO different to any of those countries we snub for having rules for one and not the other.

For the first time ever, today I'm a tad embarrassed of my skin colour and the great British establishment.

WTF

Its good you haven't overreacted to the decision

Yer and it's good your not telling that eight year old girls parents about overreacting!

I'm not over reacting, it's purely that I'm Fecked off with this countries judicial service and it's two sets of rules for the rich and the not so rich.

Petetheblu - the biggest overreaction ever to a joke of a case. Maybe you should be embarrassed.

You fool.

I've never heard of the case you are refering to. So I cannot make a comment.

The CPS are to blame here..should never have gone to court. What a waste of time and money.

Most of us could have said from day one that he wouldn't get convicted.

If the CPS hadn't got involved then the FA would likely have banned him in the same way as Suarez. Now though, the FA can do f*ck all.

Ps don't be an internet warrior calling me a fool, doubt you'd say it to my face...

Normally I'd agree with you about the rich. But in this case the only reason it went to court is BECAUSE Terry is rich. The simple fact is, the video evidence is questionable, not about "Black ****" but the context, and about what was said before it.

The fact that AF said he hadn't heard it himself and only decided to go through with the whole thing was because he saw the same footage as everyone else is enough to make the verdict Not Guilty.

Terry may be racist, he is most certainly an arse hole, his family is extremely suspect, but those cannot be taken in to account in this situation because of the complete and utter lack of evidence.

He was ALWAYS going to get away with it. He should have been banned and fined and thats that instead of getting away scott free. I don't like him and think he is a vile person. Chelsea fans may call him 'Captain , Leader and Legend' but in my eyes he will always be a cheating, racist SCUMBAG.

Despite the verdict, the Magistrate said the Crown had "a strong case".

Considering how damning the initial images appeared to be, if the case hadnt gone to trial there would understandably have been outrage that it had been dropped.

Wow, embarrassed by your skin colour are you Pete? Most white Labour MPs feel that way, as do many members of this forum who are, shall we say, of a leftist persuasion.
