I get the impression its not going to be done today.

Somewhere down the line someone is dragging their feet and its making me feel uncomfortable.
 
Wasn't the quote from Kia Jooracbian when CT became clubless 'it will be completed by July 10th at the latest'.
It is not in CT/KJ/MSL's interest to drag this out because as long as CT remains clubless he is a very valuable asset minimum £25.5m that would instantly become worthless if he unfortunately had an accident in the home, travelling, etc,etc.
As I have said on this thread previously KJ should tell CT to stay in bed until signing day!
 
apparently we're waiting on the FA to ok the paperwork because of the third party ownership.

Wouldn't have thought that would hold up the signing It could hold up the cheque though!

It will hold up the signing. Once all the paperwork has been checked and gone through then we can complete the deal.

The premier League have to ratify the papers before the signing becomes official. We could make a statement saying "Carlos Tevez has signed a 5 year contract with the club pending FA approval" imo

Just from being very forthcoming and effusive about it being done and dusted and going to be announced imminently - to being very non-commital and changing the subject. Could be reading too much into it.
 
i love the fact you lot say its the f.a. and the paper work, so what you lot are saying is the f.a have said this is why ..or is this more bullshit because i havent seem out about its the f.a..dragging there feet

A few ITK's have mentioned this mate so its just a general consensus
 
the ITKs usually get wind of it a few hours before an imminent signing if a players is having a medical or turns up to tour the facilities. we havent had any news so far today

HappyBlue and various media outlets have also said it. There is only two people i'd believe over HappyBlue and that's Spursmad (who also says it's done) and Carlos Tevez himself.

It makes sense. Little will have happened over the weekend. It's a deal that will be looked over a few times because of the 3rd party ownership so that's probably the hold up. In any case Kia-Ora said it would probably be the first week in July and tomorrow is the 7th so there is no need to worry. If there was any other club in the mix it would have been all over the press.
