Tevez to return (Merged)

We've all worked with them, the disruptive buggers in the office that seem to get away with murder yet never get pulled up. The ones who go on the sick and never get brought to book. Then they come back and the whole office is incredulous as to why that person is still employed? "What's the point?" plenty think and slowly but surely, the atmosphere in the office turns toxic. Then the inevitable happens and disruptive influence disrupts the office again; they can't help it, it's in their nature. The bad ones seem to be rewarded, moved on to other departments and the department they leave behind think "hang on, they've been a royal pain in the arse but are rewarded?" and the atmosphere stays sour until the memory of that individual fades.

I've sobered up from last night and slept on it. This morning I feel no different. It seems he'll be back with us irrespective of what I think, but even right up to the 11th hour he still cannot bring himself to be conciliatory, insisting on being "the great wronged", never accepting responsibility, possessing no humility - this is the man who has just branded Lionel Messi "...a dwarf..."

Win, lose or draw I'll never be able to accept him in the sacred Blue. As stated previously, I'll never boo any player in the shirt - never have, never will - but I certainly won't acknowledge him.

I think Mancini is marvellous, the owners unbelievably good. However, in this instance bringing him back into the fold is going to damage us and I feel it will prove disastrous.

Hope I'm wrong.

Have to say, excellent posts from DTeacher and danburge82 earlier.

I think he obviously needs to show remorse for his actions over the last few months. However, on the other hand Mancini also needs to accept some responsibility for all of this. He was a little naive in saying what he said in the heat of the moment and should have kept in behind closed doors till it was all sorted out. Also when he is at the top of his game Tevez is still better than the other 3 strikers we have.
There is no way he is better than Aguero mate about on a par with Mario.
I'm sorry but a fit Tevez is better than Aguero.

Aguero is still young and learning.

Tevez is better at finishing, and taking players on directly (dribbling).

I'll be gutted I'd he returns to my club.

He cheated on his wife when he was a United player and it effected City's season as his wife had left him and he had to go back and forth between Argentina and England to see his family,
He publicly moaned about Hughes being sacked,
He publicly moaned about Mancini coming in,
He publicly moaned about Mancini's training schedule,
At the end of 2009-10 season he said he wanted to leave so City mistakenly offered him more money, gave him the captaincy, got rid of certain players and said he can take holidays to go and see his family just to keep him sweet and get him to stay,
He still complained about Mancini's training schedules,
He openly showed his anger at Mancini on the pitch after an unacceptable performance (his effort levels were none existent and his product was awful) where he was substituted for Zabaleta,
Against Newcatle at home in October 2010, out of nowhere with nothing having gone against him and nobody having wound him up, he booted the ball against the advertising boards and picked up his fifth booking of the season (to me it looked absolutely on purpose) and in the next week where he should have been training with the squad he went of on holiday but not to Argentina to see his family but with some woman to Tenerife,
[at this point I wanted him out, right there I thought "this guy's a ****, he's bad for us!"]
After a great run of points won we were top of the Prem, but in December 2010 he came out to the media and said he hated Manchester and didn't like Mancini and put in a transfer request as he didn't want to live in Manchester or play for City anymore,
After not getting a transfer he moaned about Mancini and City as a club a bit more and moaned about our fans being obsessed by United and said he didn't like the songs we sang for him as they were more anti-United than pro-Tevez,
At the end of the 2010-11 season he came out to the media and slated Manchester saying there's nothing to do, there are only two restaurants, he didn't like the people and then he handed in another transfer request,
He moaned about not getting a transfer,
He moaned about Mancini again,
It was unclear whether he was even going to bother coming back to City after the Copa America, he did bother but was very late back breaking club rules,
[after this, when he came on against Bolton as a sub early this season he got a big cheer of loads of Blues in the crowd - WHAT THE FUCK?! ... I certainly didn't cheer the ****!]
His effort levels when on the pitch were average and he was fat as fuck,
He was on the bench at Bayern München in October and when called upon my Mancini he sat there and refused to warm up and get ready to come on,
He went off to Argentina and hasn't returned since,
He's slagged off Manchester, the club, the manager constantly and said he never wanted to return,
... what's next? Because he will fuck us over again, that is almost a 100% certainty, what are all you mugs going to allow him to do next?

If Carlos Tevez comes back I think we will have failed as a club. We will have spelled out to world football that we are a pushover from top to bottom and players can come here, take the piss, do what they want, fuck us over, whatever... and still get paid millions and come back swan around and it doesn't matter! Fucking joke, it's a disgrace!
Best post in the entire thread.
Are you being serious! Its obsessive and cringy. Anyone with more than one brain cell knows that Carlos playing for the club again is a win win situation. This is why the rags and rag media are praying that he does not return.

Sorry but mouthing off about the manager, questioning his substitutions, refusing to (warm up) play and disclosing what went on in the dugout and dressing room, it's absolutely unacceptable, any strong manger would not have him back in the clubs shirt, sign of weakness or desperation I'm afraid.

Thank you Raggy.
No other true City fan would slag off our Manager as he`s done everything by the book.
Raggy???

One of the subs unlikely to make an impact.

of the 3 stiker who have got us 2 points clear of our nearest rivals, who would you drop to accomodate tevez and you think that would be good for moral
It's not a question I need to answer fella as I wouldn't drop any of them. I'd play two and two different options from the bench. Utd seem to cope with 4 strikers in their matchday squads.

Look at the benches we have had in the last 2 months. There hasn't been many options to change games.

if tevez is picked before aguero, balotelli or dzeko, or is even called on to replace one of those three. do you think this would cause one holy shitstorm, just when we dont need it.

Has anyone considered this, we all seem to be taking this at face value, maybe its more like Tevez doesn't want to be here the club don't want him here but to make a claim against the club in the summer he is trying to show that the club don't want him anyway! The club for their part are letting him shoot his mouth off, but are giving the outside world the impression that the door is still open for him, even though its long gone.

So he will arrive at:

Manchester aiport at 1 pm
Carrington at 5 pm

To be back in the side he has two things to do :

1- Apology
2- Dropping his fine appeal

If he didn't do that, he will just train alone and pick up his +200 k/week wages until he move in the last day of summer transfer window.
Be careful not to spunk too high you might bring his plane down.
