Tevez's play has been shocking for months now.

His form is linked to Aguero though as their game dove-tails each other

But Tevez is playing so poorly now that he doesn't deserve to be in the team. We are carrying him.

He will be gone in the summer as will a few other high profile players that have lost the passion for football and don't want to be here.

Whether we can off load them is the big question though and its catch 22 because we are much better off playing lesser names who actually want to play for the club and will put in week in week out.

I am very disappointed in the mindset of the team this season because I would have thought that having tasted success especially in the way it was done they would have wanted more but clearly thats not the case with this group.

The next 12 games will show who wants to play for the blue next year and who doesn't.

It's desperately disappointing to realize there maybe a rebuild on the horizon. This will set us back big time.

I think it'll do us the world of good . Lescott, kolo, tevez, rsc , bridge, could see nasri goin somewhere like psg and obviuosly Balo off our books along with maybe one of two more and then replaced by one or two top strikers,a defender and a couple of midfielders and we will be a stronger side for sure .

Probably putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 7 but, I find myself wondering with the lack of ANY and I mean any leaks about the Tevez situation and no one pushing the point or being prepared to discuss it in any format, if the old South American trick of Kidnap could in any way be involved. I seriously hope I'm just coming up with ridiculous guesswork but Carlos must be one of the richest Argentinian sports stars and his family are all back there I believe. Like I say probably just bullshit in my stoner head but something just doesn't sit right with what effectively looks like a media blackout ?

I thought this before. It sounds like the only possible reason to me, especially with the blackout from the media.

I thought the same thing as soon as i realised he hadn`t made the bench then after the teams performance it`s blatantly obvious he`s been kidnapped.

Hahaha. Brilliant sarcasm sir I applaud you.

Spoken to Tevez camp and to City, and Carlos should be OK for next week. I repeat, his absence was down to genuine, serious family reason

Im not ITK but for me, the substitutions are making him unhappy, The fact he didnt get on the pitch against Liverpool last week shows there are problems. You need a goal chasing a title and you leave a 25M pound striker on the bench.

Things have gone down hill for Tevez since he refused to extend his contract, he hasn't played much since then
