That's that then.

15-16 year olds shouldn't be spent dealing with "heartbreak". Its bollocks. Just cherish your youth and have fun, rather then spent lamenting the fact Betty Johnson in double history, doesn't want to snog me behind the bike sheds anymore. Maybe I'm a heartless asshole, but I can't take seriously young love. For me, its an infatuation, not a proper relationship at all. I hate the fact our society uses School Proms to put pressure on shy girls and boys to have a date, and if they can't, make them feel like shit.

I don't think I'm going to try and erase her from my life because eventually I think it will just happen on its own. I've deleted every song that could possibly remind me of her and I'm sending back all the stuff she ever gave me (bracelets, hoodies, cards).

I think we will just stop talking and stop caring. I'm going to start a new Facebook account and not add her or any of her friends.

I even think this could be the start of a new opportunity for me.

Good lad.

The bracelet part is a bit worrying, though. ;)

Aye BOB you should take the reluctance of guys who on another board would rip the bollocks of ya mercilesly as a good thing.

But some will get pissed of, myself am recently single but im a typical englishman i think and thats "tell nobody, don't want a fuss".
As mentioned, it hurts now but tell me that you still feel hurt about her in a year mate, you won't remember her bloody name pal. You will be busy ramming other ladies then.

Suck it up mate chin up.

Have you taken on board some of the fine advice offered on this thread then Bob?
Some of it, yes.

By the sounds of things, she'd already decided to do end it weeks ago so she's had no trouble after breaking up with me. We're both keeping ourselves occupied at the moment to basically avoid each other.

We spoke last night just to fully end it. We then spoke as friends for a bit, but then she didn't reply for about 30 minutes so I just went to bed.

I think, very slowly, I'm going to be able to move on. Just very, very slowly.

Bob, why not go and work abroad for the remainder of the summer? It will keep you occupied and you will find other people out there. Just a suggestion?

I'd rather stay at home. I don't like leaving Britain.
