I posted these on my Facebook & Twitter earlier:
(1) In August 1992 City fans knowingly booed at the first Monday night live TV PL game when the parachutist landing in front of the Kippax was announced as a 'member of the Red Devils'.

(2) That during the managerial reign of Alan Ball fans changed the lyrics of Wonderwall by Oasis to suggest that Richard Madeley had wanted the MCFC managers job when (it is alleged) he had not applied.

(3) From 1998 until 2003 the club dubbed a temporary stand the 'Gene Kelly' against the PL rule which specifically states that stands cannot be named after actors from musicals.
