I understand this reason and is a similar response I got from my dad when I said I wanted Spurs to win It last night. He went to the final and the replay but other than that I haven't heard a solid reason for the hate. For example I went to the Wigan final and I appreciate that wasn't going to be our last chance of success for a while but I feel no hate to them, nor would I had Gillingham beat us that day.

I keep hearing all Spurs fans are wankers too, surprising the amount of blues that knock about with these cockneys unless we are judging them on a social media platform which if we are every set of fans are wankers. I'm have no interest in Spurs one way or the other I simply want them to win it as they play football the way I like to watch it.

the attitude of a large bunch of them is pretty intolerable.
 
I dont have any massive issue with the other current top 4 teams. I'd prefer Leicester over Spurs but not a lot in it. I dislike the spurs fans but i have some time for Poch and i like the way he has built a decent young team there where as Claudio is also a decent guy but they have played one dimensional football all season, fast and direct and totally reliant on a bit of midfield qulity and vardys pace, a bit like Milwal but with the ball to feet rather than to head! I also have nothing against the Arse, they play decent football and never mount a serious challenge - you should always want the Arse involved in an end of season race to the line.

However and before you all give me grief it is basically these three clubs ahead of the Rags and the dippers that I appreciate. I'd like West Ham up there as well, nothing against West Ham. Scousers in general are intolerable but my ideal scenario is Everton beating the Dippers into about 6th with the rags behind both scouse clubs in mid table. So to sum up. Any of the current top 3 are ok on the basis they are not rags or scousers!

Plus it would very entertaining to see Arsenal fans spontaneously combust if Spurs won the title

Same. The CL games are going to scupper at least 3/4 points somewhere.

On a Tuesday this weekend is also next weekend isn't it? Either I agree with you although Stoke losing last night probably finished off any hope they had for Europa so they might be less dangerous than normal although Southampton has picked up again with recent displays. Would be happy with a minimum of seven points from next 9 at the very worst. Anything less could be catastrophic as ideally we want Arsenal to come here needing to win rather than playing to draw

I don't mind Spurs at all. Don't find them half as bad as Arsenal. We've lost finals to Bolton Everton Newcastle Wolves Spurs and Wigan. We don't hate all those other clubs because of that.

The tone changed a bit with the West Ham game because they're so close and so nervous now being on the brink.
Tottenham have had some sympathy because of English contingent (from me anyway) but my god, meet one of their fans and that soon goes.

I agree with Aguero 93:20, except the Rags would finish 17th so they could stay in the league and we could thrash them each season! Also got a soft spot for West Ham - I think their fans are similar to us lot in that they believe in fate and look for weird patterns to try and explain what might happen. They thought the FA Cup was theirs because of the last season at Upton Park, and Everton in the semi's as per the time they last won it in 1980. Unfortunately, that wasn't to be the case. So they then felt there was a ref agenda against them to ensure they didn't finish top 4!

It's all the sort of conspiracy/fate bollocks we look at.

I've just stuck a quid on City to win the league at 200-1. Leicester to get 2pts from remaining 4 games and end on 75pts; Tottenham to beat WBA, but then get only 3pts from their last 3 games and end up on 74pts and City to win remaining 5 games and end up on 75pts, winning on Goal Difference.

What a load of shit! But it could just happen.

What a generalisation. There's no such thing as fate and I don't known single other City fan who believes in that mumbo jumbo neither.
 
I predicted 4 pts after Chelsea and Newcastle but other way round. Draw Saints and win the other 3 and United can't catch us even if they win all their games. It's looking like Arsenal is a key game.

Got to hope Palace or Leicester nick a point off them.
 
How foolish of me to think that 3rd was a possibility. We'll be lucky to get 4th.
 
I thought we'd secured the title? Looked like that tonight. Not many out there putting their name on the Madrid team sheet.

The lethargy was unbelievable.
