Where do I say that in my post? I said we struggle away & against decent opposition in the PL. We play Chelsea away and they're decent opposition in the PL - hence why I suggested we could lose to them.

Chelsea are not playing well and have nothing to aim for. Should be one of our easier games I think.

Was replying to someone quoting a post that is weeks old.

If they field a team similar to last week then we really should be winning if we can get through the PSG match with fitness in check & field a strong team for the Chelsea game. No clue how likely their injured players (Hazard/Willian/Terry/Cahill/Matic etc.) are to return, but believe Costa is back from his ban just in time to face us.

Re-match for dinho and costa.I expect they will try and win, i don't see why they would roll over for us and no doubt we will make hard work of it

Probably jinx it here but Mangala usually has Costa in his pocket. Hoping for more of the same. If they play the kids like they have been doing then they'll certainly be up for it but hopefully lacking the quality.
 
Whether we win tomorrow night or not, has a huge bearing on our chances IMHO.

Win it, and PellegrinI will play weakend sides prior to the next CL games for sure.

Edit : Bloody predictive text. I tried to say "weakened side". First it changed it to "weekend side", then "weakneed side" and finally "weakend side".

Take your pick!

Agreed but at the same time lose and I reckon most of these players will consider the season truly over and not really fancy the fight for the rest. I'd love just another win/loss for us and the rags respectively to be give us a buffer. Should see us over the line.

If we can win 4 remaining games that gives us 69 points meaning the scum would have to win all the last 6 to overtake us even winning 5 and drawing 1 would only give them 69 level with us so we'd do it on gd again and that will do me. I know there crap but they do have better games I think so let's just get the 4 wins and it should all be good. Games before cl should we qualify will probably see a much weakened team put out so I honestly think it will go to swansea away and we just about do it (leaving one final game in Milan to play)

But in fairness if we had the big guns on the pitch from the start then it would have been a different game mate? I think if after tomorrow we get through to the semi final and have beaten west brom the decisions taken have been vindicated! Hopefully that happens and we get no new injuries tomorrow either and besides Raheem can go to Chelsea with a full pelt squad and super strong starting eleven.

I think we'd all take 4 wins and a couple of defeats if offered it now.

We have Chelsea A, Newcastle A, Stoke H, Southampton A, Arsenal H, Swansea A.

Personally I think we'll lose the Chelsea and Arsenal games because we are playing shite. We'll do well to get a draw at Southampton and who knows about Stoke and Swansea. I'd say only the Newcastle games looks a safe bet.

On the basis of this, I think we'll get something like 8 points out of the above and finish on somewhere around 65. This might well be enough though since I can't see the rags or West Ham winning 5 games. But it's going to be very tight.
 
4-2 1992, 4-2 2010 due another 4-2 in 2018, other than that the best we have had is a draw and most we have scored is one goal.

It is like hwne we go to Anfield expecting a win, it never happens.
 
The team I fear catching us is neither the rags nor West Ham, but the candle bearers. The rags and the Hammers both have one or two tricky fixtures left, but the dippers run-in is a piece of piss. Not a single game against any of the top 9, and 4 of their remaining 7 at Klanfield. I could easily see them bagging 19 points from their remaining fixtures, which would leave us needing 10
