What fights would people like to see over the next 6-18 months then?

Quigg v Frampton – No other option, this has to happen – Spring 2015
Khan v Brook – Early 2015 if Brook beats Porter – Spring 2015
Froch v Chavez Jr. – Purely as Froch deserves his Las Vegas swansong – Winter 2014
Cotto v Canelo – Cotto isn’t the biggest MW and Canelo is a big LMW – Spring 2015
Murray v Quillin – Not many options for Murray. Quillin is the title holder and Murray, IMO, is unbeaten as he was harshly robbed against both Sturm & Martinez – Winter 2014
Groves v Degale – Let’s have another – Spring 2015
GGG v Groves – He needs to move up to SMW as, IMO, he’d walk through Cotto & Quillin and Murray has fell off the radar. Would like to see him tackle a decent SMW before aiming for Ward – Summer 2015
GGG v Ward – Winter 2015.
Fury v Wilder – Boring division so winner to face Klitchsko – Winter 2014

Well after seeing whos Quiggs next fight is against a fight with Frampton is a no go any time soon. He is fighting Paulus Ambunda in his next fight. Quigg and Joe Gallagher has been avoiding the fight for years. Carl fights Kiko and if he beats him again then Carl is the main IBF Champion. Dont forget Quigg is a number 2 World champion as Rigondeaux is the main champion. Carl beats Kiko expect Carl to fight against Leo Santa Cruz in a unification fight early 2015 as he is number 1 contender in that title too. I agree with most of the list.

I would add.
GGG V Cotto. GGG basically called Cotto out last time so maybe the end of this year who knows.
GGG V Froch early next year in a massive fight in Wembley or Nottingham.
Froch v DeGale rumours this could happen this year.
Groves v Abraham if Groves wins this fight it sets up the Abraham fight.
Murray v Billy Joe Saunders. Murray has gone stale and fighting outside of the UK him with Billy Joe be a good fight and a good way to get him back in with the British fight fans a good pick em fight.
Macklin v Lee the end of the year this fight has been rumoured time and time again and it will happen soon with late this year in the o2 in Dublin.
Khan v Pacquiao early next year. Money fight could well happen late 2015 if he beats Manny and stays unbeaten.
Khan V Brook. Again this makes good business sense but again I cant see Khan taking the fight as he is waiting on the Money fight.
Khan v Robert Guerrero could well be in the making for late this year or early next year.
Callum Smith v Rocky Fielding has to happen both undefeated and promoted by Eddie Hearn end of year burn up.
Callum Smith v James DeGale late 2015. Smith will be world champion in the future if his chin is up to the test.
Kevin Mitchell v Ricky Burns or Anthony Crolla early 2015.
Tony Bellew v Nathan Clerverly its on and it will be a cracker. Bellew needs to win or retire fancy Cleverly to win again.
Lee Selby v Celestino Caballero if they can get this fight on Lee has a great chance in beating the aging Caballero.
Selby v Vetyeka Selby needs to step up and fight a top fighter sooner or later the lad has the skills minus the power but he will be a World champion in years to come.
Quigg v Kid Galahad it will happen 2015 more so than Frampton. Good fight and Kid is a danger and might be over looked but be a cracking fight.
 
Shawn Porter v Kell Brook

I’m pleased he’s finally getting his title shot after the Alexander disappointments.

Porter breezed through Alexander and completely dismantled Malignaggi, although I think his win over Malignaggi has been blown out of proportion a touch. He’s not been decent for years, even when Khan schooled him back in 2010, so a quick 4 round demolition of a Malignaggi that’s 4 years older shouldn’t be praised as much as it has been IMO.

That being said, you’ve still got to beat what’s put in front of you and he’s done that in style recently. Certainly Brook’s biggest challenge so far in his career. Brook is a natural WW though, so he’ll have power that Porter wont have experienced, and if Porter wades in like he did to Malignaggi, Brook could well pick him off with slick counter-punching. Brook’s jab is impressive too, so that could be a weapon that may make Porter think twice when coming forward.

Real 50/50 fight this and therefore very hard to call. Porter billed as the favourite mainly due to his recent performances and with it being in America, but I think Brook can do it.

Main questions for me:

Can Porter handle Brook’s power?
Can Brook handle Porter’s power?
Can Brook go 12 intensive rounds and not have a repeat of Brook v Jones I?
Has Porter got a plan B should Brook take everything he throws at him for the first few rounds?

I’m going for Brook, biased obviously, but wouldn’t be surprised to see Porter win.

Either Porter KO inside 4 rounds or Brook with a late stoppage/UD.

Can’t wait!

Well its going to be a cracker Saturday. Brook has the skills and is ready for the title shot. The Ingles have been crying out for there next World champion so I see Kill following Naz and Johnny Nelson to being the next champion and Dominic's first world champion. Dominic Ingle is a under rated trainer and if kell listens then I think Kell wins late stoppage. I also think Kell is the next PPV fighter once Froch retires. Him v Khan could well be a PPV fight in the UK and I fancy Kell beating Khan. Kell seems focused and a cert t give his all.

I really fancy Brook to knock him out in 6/7. I think he will be too strong and quick for him.
 
Really looking forward to seeing Omar Figueroa a good young fighter lots of power and skill too. Him against Daniel Estrada could well be the fight of the night. Bika v Dirrell should be a good 1 too think Dirrell will this time get the win. Last fight was called a draw. Add in the undercard fights with Deontay Wilder , Callum Smith and Luke Campbell all making there US debut this card is stacked and it should be a good night.

He's certainly a brawler and a tough cookie that Figueroa, but that fight felt like he wasn't taking it particularly seriously and was so confident in his chin that he was letting far too much hit him, if he moves up then he needs to be more professional like he was at the end when he knew he needed to finish it.

Yet more proof what a **** Jim Watt is, gave Kell no credit throughout the fight, he picks a fighter at the start of every fight and just goes on and on about that fighter, he is such a ****, bit of a shock as i thought he might get screwed by the judges, but for the last 8 rounds all the clean work was from Kell, you could tell Porter didnt think he had won at the end. The ref was crap, Porter was using his shoulders and head too much. I had it Kell by a round or 2, Dave Paris thought it was a draw and as the 2 yank judges gave it Kell, so nobody can complain.

Worth staying up for, get in.
 
Well deserved. Much the better boxer throughout the fight and showed Porter up to be just a rough brawler who's ineffective against technical boxers.

Well pleased for Kell after all this injuries, cancellations and general shit he's had from people questioning his heart.

Bring on the big guns now.

you've summed up Jim Watt perfectly, his pre meditated script is so ridiculous it has me screaming at the telly lol. It's like he watches different fights to the rest of us. Really happy for brook, he deserves it. Never got the golden spoon like Khan did but his hard work has paid off.
 
Delighted for Kell he was doing all the clean work. I had him up by a round at the end some of the rounds were very scrappy to call. I think that Kell will do extremely well in this division. You look at the 3 main guys in the division Money , Pacman and Marquez all late 30s this is a old talented pool of fighters but with there age there is always going to be a time when they just go and cant preform as before. Kell is in the right place at the moment and will if manged right have a chance to take over from these guys.
His next fight I will be interested to seeing who they put him in against. I think he will take a top 10 ranked fighter next. Then move on to fight say Khan in a big Summer fight in Wembley. They cant do it this year as there is no big indoor arena that will hold it. I also dont think Khan deserves a shot. The way he said after Kells win that Kell can now fight Amir Khan. Khan has avoided Kell and took the easy fight at times but this will all change.

If the tables were turned Khan would never give Brook a shot, he's never been interested in fighting Brook his career would be over with that loss and Brook would be the new poster boy of British boxing. Have a feeling Kell can go on to be one of our best ever, so skilled and the patience he showed in that fight yesterday was remarkable.
