I sense some people getting heated about certain aspects of the debate in here, but personally I think by and large the discussions and the various viewpoints of constitution, religion and history are very interesting and for the most part, informative, in one way or another.
I particularly like hearing the British version of history as I would be the first to admit that the school version I learned in my early years was very subjective from an Irish point of view.
Having said that, I would say it is also evident that we studied stuff that was probably a footnote in the British version.
I’ve tried in my later years to revise history on these islands more objectively and opinions expressed in here are very interesting, from my perspective.
