The British Monarchy

The queen was no where near the richest woman in the world.
Nor Britain.

The Queen was worth about £450m. Denise Coates gets about £300m a year from Bet365, she is worth about ten times what the Queen was.

I mean...who came up with these valuations?

Buckingham Palace and/or the land it's on would be worth literally billions alone.

She was the sole owner of The Crown Estates ltd, which owns the palace, but in an attempt to obfuscate the royal families wealth, people pretend she doesn't own Buckingham Palace.

Yeah, it's an absolute nonsense.

The Crown Estate, which she was 100% owner of, has an estimated Assets under Management value of £15.4 Billion.

The monarchy do not own the Crown Estate. It is a public body of sorts which is run and feeds into the Treasury. Gifted by the monarchy in exchange for relief on their obligations to fund parliament/pay taxes.
