Its really quite funny - Labour are promulgating ideas and refusing to fight each other and the PTP are like a climber who cannot get a decent hand hold anywhere whilst desperately trying to hang on - Parliament this last couple of days has been a carnival of shadow ministers sending out air punches failing to land but the air punch comes around and hits them on the jaw as it exposes how shit they were in Govt

This is a pretty normal reaction to losing to be fair.

You either have to accept the public isn’t interested in your view of the world, or you decide that the problem is you just weren’t YOU enough.

Labour in 2017 reacted this way and tried to double down on Corbyn which lead to 2019.

Labour then reacted to 2019 by moving to the middle and now they’re in power.

We’ve know the Tories were divided for ages, and the extremists will think they won’t extreme enough and the one nation Tories will move to the centre.

That’s pretty much the case. I suspect they’ll lurch further to the right for the next election leading to an even bigger wipeout (assuming Labour don’t implode for any reason) before moving back to the centre ground in 2034 by which time people will be ready for a change making it more of a contest.
