When are people going to give up on this Mancini talk? We got bounced in the group stages with him in both his attempts. We got bounced from Europa League by a horrible Sporting and a Ukrainian club. The ones who played the worst for him, the ones who got him sacked, were the players he hand-picked, Mario being the worst offender by far.

It's like people don't even remember his last year with us or how badly his players performed.

Manager simply has to take the blame. A managers job is to motivate and kick their ass. Look at Taggart and what he did with a bunch of players, many of which were not really that great. A few good talents, but not a team of world beaters. But he shouted and screamed and kicked then up the ass and made them work, made them have pride for the shirt and play every game with 100% internsity week-in-week-out. Yes he was an awful twat, but he did his job brilliantly.

No fuqing idea where the name "The Engineer" came from. Did he used to fix boilers or something ?

Can't believe the core of that City team were ripping everyone a new asshole a year or so ago. A team doesn't get that bad in a year, despite the "ageing squad" bollox. Something stinks behind the scenes.
