The End of on Street Parking within walking distance of the Etihad

Just took that one, cheers pal!
Knock yourself out never a shortage of places to park in and around there!
As I assume you now know if you parked in that area-is that your Robin Reliant then, not seen it before so just guessing?

I parked on Ashton new road between Edge lane and the ground. Sat no problem

Well I think night matches are a no go for me from now on, I have two opportunities to get a connecting bus home if I miss it then I’m walking three miles or paying £10 for a taxi home. Tonight from Miles platting to Newton Heath it took over 30 mins due to roadworks near Broadway, so I missed all connections, my wife had to get our daughter out of bed to pick me up, fucking joke. Factor in getting pissed wet through walking from Oldham Road to the stadium and been frozen for two hours, fuck that. Using my car takes away all that, so thanks Manchester council that’s another empty seat at the stadium on night games.

Not implemented yet, in fact no sign at all. 2.5 weeks until the next home game so could be very different then.

We always go on the tram but if my sister and nephews go,she drives and we normally park at the garage/car wash place next to The Grove pub , first.time we have used it this season and the cheeky sods have doubled the price to a tenner !

Yes - no signs up on Ashton New Road but noticed a few side roads had new signs up as zone E5
On the other side of stadium into Manchester, the signs are up but not sure if people are still parking & if so, if they got a ticket

In fairness it was a fiver when Aguero won the league for us

does anyone know what it's like going east on the tram after matches? trying to figure out the best way to travel over when the restrictions come in. Parking at Ashton Moss seems an option but assume the journey there post game isn't exactly rapid?

Hoping to find some potential alternatives to paying for off street parking (coming from Leeds)

It’s shit. Trams are hammered and the buses rarely turn up.

Sorry if this has been answered. On CL games there is a number of cars parked on the grass verges, same side as the mini Etihad; on Alan Turing Way

Does anyone know the reason why, making a right mess of the grass verges

if you're prepared to wait a while, say 30 to 45 minutes after the final whistle,it will have calmed down.
you can only get on at the stadium stop or walk up to clayton hall , we do that to kill 10 minutes etc Its always seriously dangerous and rammed the first 2 or 3 trams back to ashton

We have been using the tram from Ashton moss for a few seasons now, we usually have a pint at summerbees after the game, or you could have a coffee instead, the queue has well died down by then so the tram isn’t rammed, in fact you’ll probably get a seat.

spaces at Ashton Moss can fill up pretty quickly so you might consider Ashton West particularly on Saturday for a 3pm kickoff. Can be pretty rammed after match,so as others have said, maybe wait a while.

cheers both, with the additional hour drive back over the leeds i'm wanting to shoot asap. frustratingly Briscoe lane is a great location to park for this and i'm usually tucked up in bed by 1130!
