Ha ha, brilliant, yes im a rag whos actually trying to encourage our fans to support the team more.

I just happen to think that if we can berate the players then occasionally we the fans should look in the mirror and realise that we are far from perfect in our support of the team. Why should the fans be beyond criticism, and yes, it is a particular irritation of mine about the lack of support we sometimes give the team.

You will also find im the rag that helped fellow supporters with fa cup semi tickets at face value and more recently west brom away.

Disagree totally with the OP's general point - why do youngsters equate love for your club solely with attendance and rabid singing - but as an aside why is it that every set of away fans in Europe make a right racket yet we only respond with a few muted choruses of Blue Moon or We're not really here ?

For me it's partly down to our, in the main, rubbish songs, they're too verbose and not staccato enough. Or maybe it's down to the frighteningly bourgeois crowd.

Bourgeois, nice word and 100 % correct. Too many of our fans were priced out a long time ago. Gone and lost forever.

Totally agree with this ,the prices have forced the hard core that supported the team through the bad times to watch on TV or not at all ,and these fans would have been the most vocal. The Etihad does little to help the atmosphere..Family stand and placement of away supporters all give the ground a wait till they score effect. Which is whoo ,Yeah, clap ,clap ,sit down and wait for the next one to go in. Fifty notes or there abouts, when you can watch it elsewhere without the travel costs and enjoy with a drink or three. The time has come to subsidise the people who actually attend apart from those in hospitality who can afford the experience anyway.Its only the people with good employment that can afford the prices now.

I've said it before - and until someone vouches for him - I'll continue to believe it. The OP is a rag. The most cursory glance at his posting history shows that the overwhelmingly vast majority of posts are about us supporters and how bad we are. Rarely is he seen after a victory or when things are going well - and even if he is it's only to have a go at some section of our support. Very very dubious.

If that's the case Billy a quick cursory glance by him through your latest post history could suggest you yourself are on the wind up.

Look yourself I'd say out of the last 250-300 posts about 250 are about our managers failings in a round about way,most will be the just the same theme and no doubt you'll have been arguing the same points with the same posters that you have been doing for the past 2 seasons.
