Noticeable absence of our right wing brethren coming on to defend Dave's refusal to take on Ed in the one to one debates.
Ronald the Representative,dn,foxy etc. Where r u? Let's be 'avin you!

Why would anyone right of centre defend interventionist market manipulators like Cameron?

interesting that SNP voters consider the Labour party to be ''Red Tories''

It's true too

We need an ENP south of the border

I've never watched one of these TV debates.

I know what the Tories will do if they win the election.

They'll keep a tight rein on government expenditure and try to run the economy properly.

I know what Labour will do if they win it.

They'll go on a tax and spend binge and leave the economy in a mess.

Why do I need to watch a TV debate?
'Tight rein on government expenditure ' ?
Are you having a laff?
Osborne abandoned his borrowing plans three years ago so as to manufacture the 'Con trick' recovery ( national debt 1.5 trillion last time I looked), that's why the brakes will have to slammed on in the next parliament.
Don't believe everything you read in the Sun mate.
You are quite right. He has conned the IMF, the ONS, and the currency markets, as the pound is increasing. The economic recovery is now noticeable, if Labour try to ridicule or obfuscate what is increasingly clear to many folk, here and worldwide, it is only the core vote and the myopic that will listen.

Yeah, the core vote, the myopic, those that rely on foodbanks, those that know a disabled person that has had their care cut, those that have an elderly relative that can't get care, those unemployed, those employed on zero hour contracts, those that have had their pension stolen, those facing redundancy as a result of the unnecessary cuts in services, those facing cuts in services
so not that many then

Cameron is our servant and if we want him to do a head to head with milliband he should have to do it
Running scared is ridiculous for a prime minister,i would call his bluff and if he doesn't turn up then milliband should have the time to answer the broadcasters question on his own, cameron would regret that lol

I think this 'One trick Pony' tag that has been directed at your goodself. may not be too far from reality.

Certain people will vote labour no matter what. My dad being one. All his life he has spouted - these Tory bastads etc, right until he stopped working he was obsessed with seeing the union!

My point is, not that the Conservatives are the canines genitals and anyone who doesn't vote for them is a stupid ****. What is evident is that if you're in the opposing camp, (fair enough, why not etc;) it is no use throwing a hissy fit at facts and figures presented daily, what you need to do is attack the other myriad of failings the Conservatives undoubtedly have.

I'm still sticking with my belief that, with or without Cameron, there is no chance that Miliband is going to risk taking part in a debate with Nigel Farage. Cameron's doing him a huge favour at the moment by ensuring his position doesn't need to be declared on this right now.

I still really hope I'm wrong.

Perhaps they are still at work.
they should get out of their beds earlier and start sooner, start at 7 & avoid the congestion.

Hello boys, sorry I'm late, been working my plums off today earning enough to pay for the layabouts ;-)

I think the whole debate thing is a waste of time. I think we need to find a better way of getting policies across than providing YouTube clips. Look at what happened last time. Clegg presented the best and got seats out of it and then reneged on everything he said. What's the point in that?

A good point, I'm staggered that Beaker would want to debate with Cameron

I certainly am not a Labour voter, and when I ask the tory apologists on here to explain how, if the ecomony is doing so well, revenue collected by tax and NI contributions is over £30 billion less than estimated instead of either explaining the reasons or accepting that for many people times have never been harder, they decide to resort to the petty insult of the defeated

He didn't renege on anything in fairness, he is the minority party in a coalition, none of us have any idea what both parties had to let go to come to some sort of agreement, they are pretty far apart politically

In some ways it is a shame that the lib dems will get slaughtered at the election as their stint in power has added a bit of realism to their ideology, of the three main parties i have always thought they were the most decent and honest as individuals, they don't need to pander to business or unions

In fact i am pretty likely to vote for them this time and that will be a first for me

Funnily enough, one thing both Conservatives and Lib Dem's did agree on before the last election was holding a referendum on our membership of the EU.

Yeah, funny that.
