The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

I’ve been availing myself of the offerings at the shops in the district that abuts by somewhat gentrified city centre area, and have been doing for some days now. More nimble on their feet and able to cope better with shifting demand than the big boys it would seem, although I’ve heard the cash and carries are now starting to run low. Frequently the only white guy around whenever I've been up there, which surprised me. People’s survival instincts have become blunted by years of comfortable living.

Probably won’t matter, but crazy they’ve been continuing to look in the wrong place, despite wanting the prize so much.

Fucking hell I have been working 18 hour days this week. Just come home and been to Sainsbury’s and there is nowt. Mrs ww is at her mums with the kid and I literally have 4 pot noodles.

Might be less cuddly next time anyone sees me.

We'll have another few days of the village idiots panic buying because of the schools closing. Next week, things will plateau out and those that have bought enough Pot Noodles to sink an army can crack on and then make use of the 1000 toilet rolls they've bought. Muppets.
If Darwin was right a lot of the panic buying fuckwits will go once the dying starts.
