The Labour Government

The spat started because he laughed at her dress, the same people who pissed themselves over Sunaks wife dress( And there were many) called him a misogynist for laughing at her dress.

You can't be misogynistic to women on the right of politics so it seems, plus laughing at a dress is misogynistic now :)
But, but, but Angela Rayner wasn’t wearing a dress. She wore a summer styled trouser suit and blouse, which is why my earlier response is based on Mrs Sunak’s dress. (I’m sorry I don’t know her first name she rarely came up on my radar!!)

I must be the only person in the country who quite liked that dress. It was bold and it was different. She stood up for her man and much as I dislike his party (& wasn’t enamoured of him) I admired her for her ‘defiance’ as I admired him for his gracious loser speech.
Not as much as I admired and applauded Keir Starmer’s victory one but that’s me. :-)

I guess in WW’s mind, if I hadn’t revealed my political persuasion this week, the fact that my grandfather used to stand me on a table when I was about 4 yrs old facing a mirror and repeating phrases like ‘how now brown cow’ etc., to counter what could have been a very mixed accent, would make me acceptable in their (WW) eyes/ears! :-)
Although I do sometimes use Northern phrases I don’t have a broad Northern accent just a ‘neutral’ one. *lol*
I actually think it's a nice dress, and lets be honest what do most calling it know about fashion

I didn’t answer it because I couldn’t be bothered. I would suggest she has a far higher Iq than raynor. You clearly think not but she evidently does.
Even if she does, it didn’t fucking stop her introducing arguably the most suicidal budget in the history of the country did it? Seriously, your straw-clutching is off the scale.

I wouldn't know what a summer styled trouser suit was and I can't believe I am discussing high fashion on blue moon.

I'm sat on my chesterfield in a polo neck and smoking jacket puffing on a capstan in a cigarette holder.

Not sure what you mean Kaz by the initial payment. My understanding was that PiP was graned for a set period with review points or, if in a really bad place, prmanently (without review). Also, payments are backdated.

I do understand the stress and anxiety that the assessments cause though.

Lets see what they do, although as I said, if PiP is warranted, I cannot see them touching that
Sunak said he would look to not pay it monthly , just a one off payment to buy equipement needed , totally missing the point for paying for ongoing care , probably wouldnt have happened but i saw him say it

OK. That is ridiculous. He wouldn't have a clue as to what is needed in the home of a disabled person and how expensive mobility equipment is and how often it needs renewing. Thankfully he and his Gov't are toast and we have adults in charge now

*rofl* you are Noel Coward and I claim my fiver…. Actually if you’re Noel I claim £500!! :-)
