100% they will contribute to reducing it by being the number one target for increased taxation and benefit cuts.Come on. Do you really think the OAP population can contribute the deficit?

Have we got any positives to take from this government yet other than it's nice to see a toolmakers son do good?
I would suggest it will be capital gains, dividend tax and probably some adjustments to pensions allowances for high earners. So where's he getting the money from then?

he feels your pain, they had the phone cut off when he was young you know, but he never mentions it, a bit like dave whelans broken legAll we need is Toolmaker for the full house
Asking the wrong person budSo where's he getting the money from then?
He looked quite smart in his new suit that Waheed paid for.
Reeves will state that in her budgetI want him to be more specific as to who is going to suffer? There will always be a timescale and an excuse to be made.
We have already had claims of cronyism and Labour punching down, the Tories left them with shit yes but it looks and feels like this lying bastard is just carrying that on.

Nobody from the press invitees asking him about the multiple stabbings, acid attacks and hundreds of arrests at the Notting Hill Carnival this weekend.

Notting Hill Carnival: Eight stabbed and 334 arrests
In two incidents the victims sustained slash wounds and one incident involved a corrosive substance.www.bbc.co.uk
Could have done that privately rather than go for a cheap round of applause.I think she was an Olympic medalist so just maybe worthy of a mention to her dad.
On average there are 41 knife crimes and stabbings in London PER DAY. It would seem that whilst bad for those involved, the carnival doesn't significantly, if at all, increase the normal numbers.
Exactly so, somebody should explain that to GDM and the rest of the Starmer apologists. His betrayal of pensioners' living standards in the interests of the big unions is unforgiveable. It's precisely that powerless group who will be paying for their instant public sector wage hikes - a rich reward for sabotaging the health service on which the elderly population relies most. They’re already contributing to it with the WFA.
And then if he doesn’t he’s damned if he doesn’t damned if he does, why not just take it as a nice moment?Could have done that privately rather than go for a cheap round of applause.
Ah the workers sabotaged the health service, I missed where the average nurse or doctor did that!Exactly so, somebody should explain that to GDM and the rest of the Starmer apologists. you missed three years of union coordinated doctors, nurses & consultants strikes?Ah the workers sabotaged the health service, I missed where the average nurse or doctor did that!
You mean because of the lack of pay rises and real term cuts, the strikes that cost more than the pay rise would’ve done or the billions that could’ve been spent on the nhs but was wasted on PPE that was t fit for purpose in Covid, ye but that poor nurse going to the food bank is to blame!you missed three years of union coordinated doctors, nurses & consultants strikes?
