That £500m will help them build their new blast furnace in India, where they can make steel and then import it into the UK. Now they have closed our blast furnace down. I truly despair at our politicians !

Because our state pensions are one of the lowest in the western world and have been for decades. That’s one of the reasons the triple lock was introduced. Our state pension is a disgrace. At least I will get one. But the kids of today won’t.

I was always reticent when told tips could only be paid via card machine as I doubted it would go to the person who deserved it.
