True, but I believe most of the debate on here has been about their disingenuous stance on the compensation. They can’t win. If they had made payments people would be kicking off about Labour spending and wasting public money.

Best broadcaster on Radio. Tells it as it is unlike some of the tory fanboys on BBC.This idiot is the most annoying person on earth. Appreciate he has his views but of all broadcaster he makes himself and his views totally irrelevant without putting in too much effort. A genuine waste of space.
So, anyone who doesn't agree with this absolutely abysmal, inept, corrupt government and sees Farage as a possible change to the current 2 party system are manipulated bellends, typical left wing nam calling, and you prove, why we need the poison that is the left, out of government and out of our lives.
The £22bn black holes that’s been plugged with £40bn of tax rises but still responsible for every decision the government makes. That black hole?
Calm down let's not go completely bonkers:-)You must joking right, the sooner we can get this pile of @#!£ out of government the better, and if the means a Musk/Farage team up, all the better.

He's entitled to his opinion and who he supports in fairness. You really do post some shite these days, fuck of to the WHU forum.
We have David Cameron as our current prime minister. What we do need is to never have a Johnson again.Agreed.
I am not a Conservative voter but I do think it is important that we have a healthy Tory party for our political system to work.
People need a viable alternative but it’s obvious Badenoch isn’t it.
They need to find their David Cameron, then we as a nation can have a sensible discussion and put these populist charlatans back in their box.
Working for two years longer will affect the job prospects of young people and unemployment figures will rise.Dons his tin hat...
Maybe women should work 2 yrs longer as they live on average 2 yrs more than men. It would help fix the pension funding problem.
He’s basically a piss taker, with very little if anything behind it, but for some reason he appears to be a Svengali figure for quite a few on here.Similar to talksport, Just click bait journalism to get people riled, always takes an extreme stance. He doesnt mention controlled immigration.
If Farage is the answer you are asking the wrong question. You've called a poster out for name calling, which is fair enough, but then announced that you see people who you disagree with as 'poison' and want them 'out of our lives'. Genuinely confused how you can reconcile that first position with your latter comment ?
For what it's worth I think the 2 party system is no longer serving us well but I don't think Farage is the answer, especially not Farage backed by a foreign business man interfering in the sovereignty of our nation. Surely if you're not keen on name calling you'll want to give a wide berth to someone like Musk?
The truth is however that there aren't enough working people to support pensions; not in the long term. When it was introduced there were 7 working people to every pensioner, now it's something like 4:1Working for two years longer will affect the job prospects of young people and unemployment figures will rise.
That’s why we should protest the extension of our working life men as well as women, I want fit healthy young people working and earning so they can lead independent lives.
Otherwise known as the carers allowance...House work benefit.
Pay men/women/insert other here £200 a month to stay and home to cook, clean, iron the dominant partners clothes.
Inspectors trained by Anthea Turner do 6 monthly spot checks and take it away if it's not up to standard.
Over time backdated pensions won't be an issue.
Happy homes, happy life and all that.
Jobs a good un.

To be fair two party politics is not the best way to run a country and thats why ive always been a proponent of proportional representation. You need a range of voices to represent the electorate. It helps expose extreme views, allowing debate to show them for what they really are, but also ensures decisions (e.g. the cuts to NI that the Torys did to deliberately fuck up the next government or the excessive spending of the last Labour government that left us poorly prepared for the crash in 2008), are made in the best interests of the country and not to satisfy back benchers or play political games.Ok, so what actual change do you envision under a Reform/Farage government? What policies will they bring to make our country all perfect ?
Let’s not forget it was Farage who sold us Brexit, who said it would stop immigration and we’ll make our laws and everything will be great - how did that work out? And yet we’re expected to take his word once again.
We keep getting told we dont have enough workers and its holding us back. There is already a surfeit of unfilled jobs according to the DWP.Working for two years longer will affect the job prospects of young people and unemployment figures will rise.

Fantastically put.I blame the voters, to be honest.
If voters are unintelligent enough to respond to three-word slogans and similar shite, then it's no wonder our politics are in disarray. No sensible debate can be held on any subject. It all descends into a football-like argument, my team good, your team wankers.
I'm not sure democracy can be made to work anymore, not while we have a corrupt media run by greedy billionaires and social media that's full of fruit loops, bigots and nazis. As for Farage and his mates, don't make me laugh. They got us into this shit through Brexit and what passed for a debate at that time. A pack of lies and distortions that played on people's ignorance.
