I believe a new enquiry will be held, maybe he will hold it off ,maybe not . If he does the next government will do it.
When it happens those that wished to pretend this wasn't a problem will be ashamed.

Ok - we investigate the Pakistani grooming gangs in 50 towns in the UK - what about the white/Chinese/ West Indian gangs in those 50 towns and indeed everywhere else in the UK? What about the abuse carried out by lone wolves, family members it would be started in good faith but soon be dragged off course when the victims of white gangs ask why their attackers aren't subject to investigation and the clamour for that to be included in the investigation.

Why should the issues which led to Champion leaving her Shadow role in 2017 just be disregarded and ‘given up’, given that the same issues are still playing out across the Labour Party today, all perfectly encapsulated by Starmer’s far right comment?

1. As you say it would cost another fortune, a fortune we don't have readily available
2. Another inquiry would take years to conduct and would stall implementation of the current recommendations
3. Implement the recommendations from the extant report and see what changes that brings

I would much rather the Gov spend our money wisely rather than use it for political capital, which is what Starmer is doing

I think the story will come when the full investigation is done into the ex Bangladeshi PM and whilst Siddiq may have done nothing wrong, the optics are not great and she has done the right thing.

Like all politician's at her level, she can enjoy her break and will be back in another role soon enough

No UK leader has ever attended - you can put the boot on the other foot and say Trump wouldn't invite Starmer because a "no thanks" in return would hurt his ego

She’s gone because the investigation being conducted by a few journalists have started to unearth links between members of the Awami League in the UK and the Labour Party leadership, and the support Labour have received in certain constituencies.

Siddiq is a fundamentally dishonest individual and it’s ridiculous she was ever given that role in the Treasury.

Several of the far left/Corbynites locally left the Party on the day Keir Starmer apologised to the Jewish community for antisemitism, so draw your own conclusions. I imagine it was a similar story elsewhere.

Needless to say, they haven't been missed, nor would they be welcomed back.

As I said, the story is to come I believe and it’s why Starmer has acted and she has resigned before being pushed.
