This isn’t an echo chamber, it has many people, who are all Blues, who express themselves with real intellect and valued contributions. Then, for reasons I just can’t explain, a disinformation bomb (what I prefer to state as ‘a lie’) is dropped into the thread which dis-rails the debate.

Like I said, and I’d hope you agree, let’s keep it respectful, as we all have something in common, but not let us promote lies and misinformation. We should all be above that.

What disinformation bomb has been dropped blue?

To be fair, I agree about the liars. One the other night claimed it was widely reported that 3 men had died due to ambulance delays caused by the farmers go slow protests.

Still waiting for the widely reported links but I fear they don’t and never did exist. Still, it reaffirmed their opinion about the farmers protest so why not take it in and spread that disinformation eh?

Back to the Labour Party thread and bombs.

I don’t really get riled, I get despondent. If you see me as riled, just like a lot on here who need to exercise their demons, then something is really wrong

Probably on different subjects, as my take on the farmers is that they can do what they want in their fields, like shooting my mates dog who was just doing a bit of ratting, or ensuring that they pay no tax by buying the latest tractor or personal carriage that covers the cost.

If that’s your thing, good on you. Me, I’d like us all to be treated the same and not have favourable terms because we can blackmail you.

Do you have money, or come from money?

RIP your mates dog but dogs loose on farms tend to get shot. Only last week up here a dog loose mauled several sheep, killing a few and the others needed to be euthanised so as a responsible dog owner I’d suggest they be kept on a lead at all times, in fact the law covers just that.

Money? Poor as a church mouse.

As for the dog, he had been allowed on the land. Farmer and his friends decided to have some fun.

Okay so no concrete examples then other than suggesting you shouldn't be allowed to silently pray near an abortion clinic. Are there any other thoughtcrimes you don't like or is that the only one?

Sorry, I took it as a given you might have interpreted that comment with me taking it as a given you might understand what Russia would want its influence in the west to entail.

Just to clarify, how low a level do we have to start this debate at?

How about we just focus on my second point for a start seeing as that’s the main one you’re arguing. Again I’ll ask, you don’t think anything we do with Chagos will be aligned with the US and what they want us to do?
