Good news that the Government is going to crack down on the big benefits scam that has been ongoing in the country for the last few years.

A large percentage of people claiming disability benefits are clearly able to work but are choosing not to, pulling the mental wellbeing card. This means there is less money for those that are really ill.

They should go further and follow the example of some European countries and reduce unemployment pay after a few months. There are jobs out there, people need to go and apply, not just be lazy and rely on others to pay for their lifestyle choices.

I have always said that Politicians could learn something from Trump, that being that when you say you will do things in a manifesto you should, if elected deliver them. And I stand by this.

Trump does this but not very well and that has been exposed recently. He himself could learn a few lessons in diplomacy from Politicians.

The poltical choices we are being presented with these days are horrendous.

My politics in some areas are quite leftist... nationalisation of public services (power and water) and transport for example, these should not be "for profit" businesses. On the other hand on immigration I don't think we should be an open opportunity for people to rock up and take residence here. Anyone that comes to these shores illegally should never be accepted into a process that could see them gain citizenship. We simply cannot afford or support it on so many levels, if we could..... maybe I'd think differently.

The difficulty is knowing for sure who is work shy and who isn't.

Jesus that is terrible. What's wrong with our society when those in charge can't even make a phone call to see if a person is OK? Better still a home visit.

We seem to be bending over backwards to help those that come here illegally yet don't even look after our own. Shameful.
