The Labour Government

How is he being brave? He's taking money from those with the least.

We have seemingly got our own “Starmians” who will stand and applaud literally anything he and his party come up with, even if they are policies traditionally seen as right wing and ones a few short months ago they would have been disgusted by.

Tribal best sums it all up.

Just wait until man of the people, very rich people Nige and his best mate Vlad gets in, he’s made no secret that he hates the nhs and wants to replace it with an American insurance based system, one that is hated by most Americans and costs citizens much more than the nhs.

Not really a ringing endorsement of the Labour Party but a bit of deflection is probably all many have at the moment.

Is that any worse than the Starmer Streeting plan?

Not you again. Labour may be a bit shit but the Trump lite alternative is a million times worse.

Agree.

I can discuss Trump and Nige in their own threads though.

Labour are a bit shit but the alternative is shitter isn’t an excuse to ignore what this Labour Party is currently doing.

We now have a right wing Labour Party in power with an even further right opposition.

Let’s call it for what it is, fucking garbage.

That is pretty much the current direction of travel from Starmer.

Genuine question but given you are right wing aren't you quite happy with the current labour party? It's probably quite similar to the tories 2010-Boris Johnson I'd say.

The Tories in 2010 were committed to shrinking the size of the state for ideological reasons.

You can argue that Labour has had quite a ruthless start, but they've been quite clear that by the end of the Parliament they want the state to have achieved a lot more in terms of the NHS, housing, net zero etc.

The 2010- government were also keen to strip back some of the improvements to employee rights that had come in under New Labour. In comparison, the General Secretary of the TUC said the current Governments plans were the "first time in a generation that workers' rights have been taken seriously". New Labour obviously made some big improvements (NMW, holidays, parental leave, childcare, unfair dismissal, etc.), but the plans that were announced recently are night and day in comparison with the Osborne/Cameron years.

I have never ever been as disgusted by a Labour government than i am now.

Starmer, Reeves, Streeting and Kendall are not Labour, they are de facto members of the liberal intelligensia who support neo liberalism.

The attacks on people with disabilities absolutely appals me.

I AM AT A LOSS WHY THE CUNTS ARE ATTACKING THOSE WITH LEAST.

FUCK OFF LABOUR, YOU HORRIBLE NASTY CUNTS.
Led to believe there's a possibility of Labour removing or heavily reducing the LCWRA componant of U.C. This is only awarded to claimants who through no fault of their own cannot enter the workforce as they're deemed too ill for work. In addition the PIP test is to be made more difficult to procreate a succesful claim, but I was under the impression that the bar on eligability for this benefit was already set very high?

I can think of many ways to save money, rather than attack the weak in our society who cannot fight back, such as the pensioners and the disabled. I am not a Labour voter, but feel that over their short tenure they've gone out of their way to dissapoint, but their reckoning will come home to roost at the return to the ballot box.

Spring is in the air so if you want to really save money why not place all the illegal boat crossers into tents or caravans, to free up the hideous costs associated with Hotels, or would that be an infringement on their human rights?

A travesty of a Faux political party that have always espoused to care for the elderly, the infirm, the sick and the under priviliged, yet upon achieving Nirvana gained nothing, save for throwing their supporters to the wolves.

Mr Corbyn love him or hate him, had more empathy in his little toe, than Starmer will ever have in his whole body.

Shame Shame Shame.
