I was sat in my usual seat in the LC in row 4, and I definitely heard a racist shout, and immediately looked to my left, don't know if it was directed at Adeyemi, but it was just at the beginning of the Luis Suarez song, which consequently led to the furious reaction. Left me a bit shocked and saddened so I left 5 mins early and missed our last two goals. As an ethnic supporter myself, I hope whoever said it gets banned from Anfield, so we can keep it racist free.

Still feeling a bit down, especially coming so soon after the Suarez ban.

Not toeing the party line, eh. That'll be a ban I can see on the horizon, winging its way towards that poster.

Given the seriousness of the subject one shouldn't but that is genuinely funny.
Balls to the seriousness of the subject, it is genuinely funny! Well done that man.

Hope LFC fans take the time out and read this:

You so called "Fans" should be ashamed of yourselves for letting your club down. Putting aside the racial slur that one of your idiotic supporters made, the whole of Kop singing Suarez chants when Adeyemi walked towards you was in extremely bad taste. Absolutely disgusting to be quite honest. The FA should intervene immediately and give them a hefty on the spot fine.

If one of our players (Whoever it was Silva/Dzeko/AJ/Kolarov...let's be honest Liverpool fans are only kicking up such as fuss as he's one of there best players and it's quite pathetic and petulant really)had been convicted of a similar nature to Suarez I'd be the first to criticize their actions and fully support whatever punishment the Football Association gave him(Kolo got a 6month ban for taking a diet FFS!!!).

I'm no fan of them dipper bastards but this is such a none story its beyond belief. The press are out to get Liverpool due to their intial reaction to the whole Suarez affair and lets be honest, its a bit setup and a bit pathetic. They're now using the rants of a single cretin in the scouse end ranting disgusting racist shit to try to suggest either a) Liverpool FC are a racist club, or b)Liverpool (the City) is backwards and the entire city is full of neanderful racist bastards. Either way, the truth as unpalatable as it may be for some is, that neither is true. Liverpool just like Manchester and indeed every town, village and City across the country harbours some racists, to suggest "Liverpool" are alone in a "new RACISM storm" is ridiculous. I hear comments that can easily be construes as racist every time I go to the football. Does that mean we are an indicitively racist club too.

What a fucking hero that guy is. He hears the racial abuse but makes no complaint, leaves the ground early and then complains that he is upset at Saurez' ban rather than what he actually did.

Fucking pathetic twat!

About halfway down that page is the first mention (that i could find) of someone alleging that a racist comment was shouted.

I think you've missed the point. Of course they can't be held responsible for all their fans' attitudes but it was their official reaction to the Suarez affair that they got (rightly) caned for. The question is being asked is whether that reaction gave the impression to their fans that this sort of thing is somehow acceptable. So they can hardly now turn round and say "We unhesitatingly condemn racism in any form" because what they've done (via their statements and the t-shirts) is effectively say "We condone it"

What's he supposed to do, considering he doesn't seem to know who it was who shouted it? The bit where he says 'so soon after the Suarez ban' to me means that he was upset at what Suarez did. I don't know how you've taken it to mean that he was upset at the punishment rather than the offence. Unless i've missed something.

What is grim and hilarious in equal proportions is that, whilst the majority of the RAWK posters seem genuinely upset about the racist shouts nearly every one of them has

'Mr suarez is not a racist' by their member names.... YCMIU

This is getting beyond a joke now.

Liverpool want the whole football world behind them when it comes to justice for the 95 yet are completely burying their head in the sands with all of this.

I suppose it depends how you read it. Seemed to me that he'd rather walk away and leave it for someone else, basically allowing the perpetrators to get away with it. Considering there was no firm evidence then his statement would have indeed had an impact in bringing those concerned to answer for their outburst.

With regard to Saurez, he was happily sat there while the Saurez song went on, maybe even joining in yet was only phased by the outburst. He was more than content with his surroundings up until that point.

Like I say though, it's all in the reading.

Not really missing any point, just refuse to be a hypocrite, I condemn any racist abuse but I hear it all the time around coms, we ain't no better. Racism has not been given the red card yet (but the situation is improving)

funny how when it was suarez they backed him but now its a fan of theirs they are like "am disgusted he should be banned"

hahahahahahaha oh the irony.
