The Liverpool Thread

I really liked Dalgleish as a player and never had a problem with him when he started managing... but for some reason this season I have really started to detest the man!

He really is annoying in the extreme.

Don't want to go to Anfield on back of Napoli game with them flying high after 3 points at Chelsea.

Draw is best result

It could be amusing watching them work themselves into a frenzy of optimism and then come crashing down again when we beat them.
Liverpool always up their game against the big clubs so they will be well up for it. On the other hand we have also gone up a gear and really turned the screws when we've played the bigger clubs(Spurs and the Rags)
I'm looking forward to it immensely and want revenge for the defeat at Anfield last season. If we stay injury free after Napoli I don't see any reason why we can't beat them.

We should be ok then seeing as we're not a big club and have no 'istreeeeeee'

Big win for liverpool that. Tf they'd have lost then their top four hopes would have been looking very grim, but this win keeps them in the hunt. Going to be very tight

Not sure if this is a WUM on RAWK (it's always hard to tell), but deary, deary me:

I have this term which I use to describe footballers that are weird, and have no character.

Balotelli For example, I don't think he's cool at all, and I call him a freshy - someone who's unoriginal, that goes out for alot of the teams, they are weird, and they don't have character like the Liverpool team does. Liverpool is an original team, for me, I don't know why. When I see man city etc.. they just look like all of the players are freshies, not original, just, boring characters, but good in football.

You know, like, man city.. came out of nowhere, there is no culture other than... a billionaire buying the team..

it's kind of annoying to say the least.

Yes, Liked them when they beat United, because United is like one of them, but I still like rooney. The man city team full of highflyers, but... they ought to know, Liverpool have this culture, which originates to the times where english football was it's best.. and original... now the premier league is obviously a shadow of it's former self...

The only team I respect is Liverpool and Tottenham, and maybe arsenal.

Liverpool is not like any team... people need to recognise this... :).. infact the whole world does... (Middle finger up to other teams)

He is quite clearly foreign and more likely than not, has never been to the stadium itself.

What he's written there is a pile of drivel to endear himself to RAWK and make him feel better about being plastic. There's so much bollocks in it that even if he is serious, I can't take him seriously because, quite clearly, he's a whomper.

The thing that wrote that is just a dunce of the highest order. If he didn't get dogs abuse off the Liverpool fans after posting that i would be very surprised.

A footballer who abstains from alcohol and other vices is far more likely to fulfil his potential than some Geordie pisscan who likes a brawl.

was talking to my mate about this at dinner and we both said the same thing, how can somebody who could have everything not get it into his head that all he has to do is knuckle down for 15 years have a possibly good career. then go out and get steaming every night shag as many brasses he wants, stupid just stupid.

Because the WAGS dont want to shag a 37 year bloke, I mean Ryan Giggs is 37, who wants to go around sha...... oh......

Just been reading the pre match thread on rawk and it's incredible. They accuse us of being arrogant yet almost to a man they are predicting that they will beat us and put us in our place.
I really hope we bury these twats by a cricket score. If they end our unbeaten run it will be enough to fuel their deluded hopes of winning the league for at least another week.

Since i just completed cod4 and am bored ill have a ganders stony :)
From what you say it seems they have recovered from realizing they are shite the other week far to quick.

I shall report back the number of lols had, you may all now sit on the edge of your seats.

Also @that quote, well read Alan's reply.

Edit:: Well some of them are rightly worried, a few others think they will tonk us. The deludeds on there are in fine form though...

"Spearing on to man mark Silva? I honestly believe he is that good we should try and constrain him in a measure such as this. Who he would come in for is another story, and it wouldn't be Lucas (he needs to own Yaya)"

So a young lad who got put back on the bench, who also has minimal experience can man mark Silva. Well i would like to see the outcome of that.

Re: Andy Carroll blowing his chance- Martin Samuel

There were a few angry people in the match thread Spurs V Villa.

Some saying why they didn't get Adebayor on a loan instead of 35m Carroll.

It has got me thinking though if they would have kept Torres and forgotten about Carroll/Henderson.

Torres/Suarez partnership would have been a very good strikeforce. Although Fernando denies he made a mistake joining Chelsea I think part of him (at the moment) feels he has

I love it how they seem to think last seasons 3-0 win against us a couple of days before the cup final is their yardstick and apparently they've improved since then yet we've only got a couple of new players since which really hasn't improved us.

As if that result counts for anything 7 months on? I've never read such pompous, arrogant self deluded shite in my life than from the no marks who are on there. Every one of them thinks they are some kind of football tactical genius or knows how to read the game inside out.

The quotes below sum up the cocksuckers. Anybody on here who is currently studying psychology could do no worse than to have a trawl through the threads on RAWK as there's enough material on there to keep you going for years!!

City fans arrogance holds no bounds hope we fuckin batter them.

They are fast becoming the most graceless mob around. I echo your sentiments"

According to the Sky Sports app on my phone, Liverpool are after Barcelona midfielder Shaleum Logan!.

Useless bastards.

Re: Andy Carroll blowing his chance- Martin Samuel
