The PGMOL Apologies Thread

I have a feeling, well hoping this could well go against shited,, there has been a big huha in the media about this decision, and can't see em wanting anytime soo again.
Have to wait and see, but don't think ull see as many glaring mistakes from now on,, involving them twunts anyway

That's right. Well, until October 28 anyway ......

What puzzles me is what type of person wants to be a ref ?
I known the game needs them !
You make a mistake which that's face it, it should be getting hard to make with VAR.
VAR I thought was to cover their backs to help the refs but it isnt.
Rashford against us the ref over ruled a world cup final linesman and VAR. It has to go down as one of the most corrupt decision ever.
Yet that ref couldnt careless never got dropped, never had to explain his decision, his decision could have cost City the league.

I get the feeling these refs are little people and this power goes to their heads. They are jealous that they werent good enough to play football at any level.
Yep, I've always thought the only reason anyone would want to be a PL ref is because they're attention seeking wannabees and glory hunters who want to associate themselves with and bask in the reflected glory of being involved with superstar, world famous players.

Unfortunately when you combine their snivelling sycophancy for (supposedly) the world's biggest players and clubs along with their employer PGMOL's agenda to keep those clubs relevant there's only going to be one outcome.

If you remember years ago there was an article about giving a decision against the Rags meant you ended out in the cold, no big games, career impacting. No harsh words, no disciplinary, but it’s the usual way that a corrupt western society creates obedience. You are quick to learn to fall in line & your career will blossom. The offside decision did no harm to Attwells career & he carried on with the penalty at Wembley.
Didn't one ref go 18 months without reffing another rag game after the pisscan expressed his dissatisfaction with him?

Hard to eradicate that corruption but PiGMOL having the PL as their paymaster cannot under any circumstances build confidence in their partiality.

Especially as the rags and dippers hold such a strong influence on the PL .
And the PL have the broadcasters as their paymaster, and the broadcasters want the 'istry teams, united in particular with their 6 billion Asian armchair fans, to remain relevant.

As ever it's simply a case of follow the money.

It was a lot longer than 18 months. Was years I think. Brian something. Think it was after a Sheffield United game. Possibly the first day of the Premier League when Brian Deane scored the first ever goal. Not sure though now.

It’s difficult to know what to do when a manager says that though. Your instinct would be to give him another game as soon as possible to show them that they can’t dictate who refereees their matches. But then you’re putting the referee under so much pressure and you certainly wouldn’t want to be the opposition that day. But you give them a spell away from that team to let things cool down and it looks like the manager is dictating to you.

Have you got a black flag shop or some shit?

The only other people into black flags as much as you are anarchists and The Taliban.
You sound like the sort of bad tempered, anti social, anti establishment, aunty mary, revolutionary Black Flag waver we need.

Ill send you the application form.

Very best wishes.

We are talking about being put out to pasture after correctly awarded decisions against the Rags.

I know. I’m talking about a referee in the 90s who upset Ferguson and he said publicly that he never wants him doing a United game again. And they obliged and didn’t give him another United game for years.
