Kaz - I would and could not be a nurse for 200k a year. Simple fact is we need to cut costs. Look at the national debt clock.

I don't give a shit about the debt, nurses are the wrong target
Cut NHS managers if you want or get the tories to get the money off their rich mates
Now, there's a scandal that needs uncloaking. You can't go 20 yards in a hospital without walking into a manager. If any of you have kids who are about to go to uni, get them onto a subject like Healthcare Management. There is a shit load of money in NHS management, and they certainly don't start on the minimum wage either. Oh, and not to mention gongs!

Dead right, the management is bloated and lots more of them put in to do the top down reorganisation the tories have done

While you're waiting for a train presumably.

If it stops a drunk train driver from working , I'm all for strikes.

RMT Leader defends drunk train driver.

As a right wing union member I feel I should complain not sure about what though

Don't you understand?

You see that one train driver was drunk.

So now all train drivers are potential drunks.

Just like yewtree are investigating Sergio Aguero because Adam Johnson exists.

This is how things work apparently.

To be fair , it can't be easy driving in a straight line when you've been drinking.

Imagine if I had threatened to go on strike in the middle of the recession? I would sack anyone who goes on strike.
you would be sacking millions of people in the next year or so then

May be a way to get the long term unemployed into work with all those new vacancies.

just saying like

Could well do though not sure how much it would vost to educate and train them in their new jobs. Or what would happen in between times

If I am honest I never even read it as it was in the Telegraph

The cost of the Training would be paid by the companies they would save a fortune as all new workers would be put straight onto second generation contracts.

It's the same thought process that says if you find one person screwing the welfare system then they are all doing it.

Clearly this one drunk train driver is just the tip of the iceberg, symptomatic of a deeper malaise, something must be done!

The Daily Mail runs with this kind of line all the time, it's their staple when reporting on the great unwashed.

Now I get it so it's like when one rich person dodges a bit of tax every rich person must be doing it
