As long as we finish above that smug bunch of rag cnuts, I'll be happy, this season has been an absolute nightmare since January!
Re-structuring of a massive order is needed.

Since January? Were you here for the CL group stages...This entire season has been dire.

We were joint top of BPL in January. We were in the knockout stages in January. Not sure what you are referring to. We struggled against CSKA (home), we were done by the ref in the away game and dominated play but it doesn't make a difference as we got the job done eventually.

We were utter fucking shit against all three teams at home in Champions League.

It's a results business... we got the results we needed. We beat Bayern at home no matter whether they had 10 men (we forced the sending off tackle to occur) and we beat Roma away. We were unfortunate to lose last minute in Munich and were poor against Moscow though unlucky with decisions in the away fixture. We qualified though and that's all that matters. It's been a poor season with no real standout performances or results to speak of... but yet we got through the knockouts and can still finish 2nd which is a failure and a bad year but only with our high standards.

If truth be known, both City and United have been on a downward spiral for three seasons, after finishing 19 points above 3rd place Arsenal in 2012.. However the waters were muddied by the gap still being wide enough for United to win the Premier League in 2013, and City the following season.
Unfortunately the other teams have now caught us, and whilst United have arguably halted their decline, City are still hurtling downwards.
It’s great when you play poor and still win games, but you can only play that card for so long. Sooner of later, you’ve got to function as a unit and start dominating games. Otherwise the results. will turn against you.
More specifically, City have been poor all season, but there’s been a malaise infesting both the fans and players, suggesting that because we finished strongly in 2012 and 2014, it will somehow turn out okay. Sorry, but it doesn’t work like that.

One of, if not thee (Shakespeare) poorest attempts at a wum I've seen in a very long time..

I'd panic... but I've seen how much Chelsea have won whilst in a decline much worse than ours... a side that are now going to win the league to add to their league cup from earlier this year. That didn't take them long to turn around. A CL, Europa League, FA Cups thrown in as well. I'd also point to history to put to bed your "malaise" argument. We had a very poor 2012/13 campaign and showed no signs of improvement. We then spent well, addressed squad concerns and won the league and league cup last time out. Notice how we weren't ageing then, we were experienced. A few fresh legs and some young, pacey players as well as replacing the likes of Yaya and we'll be fine.

If we follow Chelsea's transfer policy rather than the Rags we'll be fine (and we will). Mourinho has re-created the team he used to have at Chelsea. He's bought specific players to play his type of football. It's all very one dimensional but it works for a couple of years and then he moves on. The Rags have failed to replace Ferdinand, Vidic, Scholes and Giggs and are therefore punching above their weight. Any side that relies on Michael Carrick so much isn't as good as they think they are. He's not got long left either with his injury history.

We need to replace Yaya... aside from that we just need more quality in other positions, more pace and trickery up front. If we buy a winger who can cross the ball we have 25 goals in Bony as well as Aguero's threat. We'll be fine.

Mother of God!

And there was me thinking that City have just lost 4 away games in succession. Take your head out of your own arse and you might learn something.

Re: The race for the Top 4

Can't be arsed with the essays. I stand by my claim that City were utter shit in the Champions League this season, only the Roma match was decent. Hopefully with the right manager it can be fixed for Champions League.
