They had stewards, lots of them in high vis vests and organisers on the ground with megaphones, and they must've had coaches to get people from across the country to London, so there would've been set pick up points in various towns and cities, drop off points in London and then pick up points to get them back. Those flags didn't appear from nowhere so they had to be produced and distributed and how was the march advertised, how did they get the message out to those that wanted to attend?

Who was on the organising committee that liaised with the Met? Who ran this show coz I'm damn sure it wasn't Robinson.

Anyone who has organised even a small gathering knows it's like herding cats, something on this scale requires organisational skill and deep pockets.

I clicked the link and the first picture had white people in it.

I am sure I could go into an local african ean cafe or bar and be welcomed even if I was the only Mzungu in the place ;-)

Yes the white lady could be part of the LGBTQIA community. I just think putting out a statement (below) as to who is welcome, surely it would be better to say everyone is welcome. Some far right could see this as .....ive lived here all my life now I'm being told I can't go to my beach etc etc. Uneducated people can be easily lead by hateful educated people.

This country is fast turning into a proper mess.

He sits on the board of the The Friends of the Israeli defence forces, the Jewish foundation for the righteous and has funds a group called Shillman Fellows which includes Katie Hopkins and he also contributes a 5 figure salary to SYL.

I think it’s fair to say he’s a racist ****, who has no interest in the UK, taking back its country but is just looking at making a killing of division.
 
The thing is, waving flags and calling yourself a 'patriot' and a 'Christian' (sic) does not produce anything.

It does not put a single meal on the table or build a single house. All this shit manufactures is layer upon layer of hatred, and that will not 'unite' Britain.

We are already seeing black and brown Britons being attacked and insulted by Neanderthals and being told to 'go home' - though they were born here.

It's sick-making—nothing to be proud of, whatever.
 
I was pondering how being anti-islam could be considered far-right, as Islam itself is as far-right you can get. Surely those protesting should be considered as loonie-lefties

It's all very well blaming this on the left not reaching out to the downtrodden white male and giving all he has worked for to some undeserving non Brit. But people have to use a bit of sense here and realize they're being played. The involvement of Musk should be enough to tell them that. Of course we've been here before with aristocrat Oswald Mosley. Hopefully Robinson and his followers will become a side note like the blackshirts.

That is not to ignore the fact that the Labour party has been totally useless in representing the working class preferring to cosy up to bankers, foreign oligarchs and so on.

However they may do that as it seems to me that the British public are more conservative than say their counterparts in France, Spain, Italy and elsewhere who at various points in their histories have embraced socialism, communism and anarchism.

Perhaps we will continue to sail down this middle path but the rise in ultra nationalism currently being fuelled by online warriors makes this less likely in my view.

According to Lammy and Abbott as well, the British Empire makes all folk from the Commonwealth a part of our extended family, and there's merit in the argument, why should our history and lineage stop in Lancashire and Cornwall? Why not Jamaica and Lagos? New Delhi and Melbourne? Lots of folk there have ancestors who fought for the British Empire, my dad was stationed alongside the West African fighting force in the 2nd World War.

We have to step back and see things differently if we're going to break down us and them, otherwise we let GB News, Talk TV and right wing influencers continue to peddle the narrative that it's the natives against the invaders.

I agree with much of this, but I'm seeing something I've not seen before and it looks a bit like the Trumpists in the States, notwithstanding the bigots and the stupid I get the impression that a lot of folk know they're being played, but they don't care. They don't like the way things are, often they can't articulate it and the establishment parties don't try to on their behalf, but the charlatans do, so they throw their lot in with them if only as a big fuck you.
