Reni - Good solid drummer, nothing amazing though like some think. Though i'm into my Heavier music more so than the roses, more into drummers like mikkey dee, iain paice, keith moon, bonham etc

I play the drums (in a spectacularly average manner admittedly) and I totally disagree. Not worth getting into the best drummer ever arguments but to say he is nothing more than a good solid drummer is just bollocks. You mention Keith Moon, Pete Townshend asked Reni to play on some of his stuff many years ago because he said he was the most naturally gifted drummer he had seen since Keith Moon. Fact is, he is an incredible drummer.

I was 15 when I first heard I wanna be adored and that was all it took for me to get hooked, from 89 to now their music still gives me goosebumps and my hair stands on end, only the roses and John Lennon songs move me like no other music has...
Suppose it was a Manchester thing for some of us with the roses..
