How much money has the club lost to finance the player's to elevating the badge? It was 126M over the pandemic wasn't it?

At some point owners have to decide if they are a charity or a business.
Bloody spot one the staff and the players are and were not paid with pennies to defend the so called football tradition but with too pound, the club is not a sharity.

And those who count on the players to strike, yeah they will strike if their pocket is hit.

The players of top leagues get paid a lot of money, maybe because it is offer and demand, the club behave the same offer and demande

Chelsea and City are also in huge 'debt', not to a bank but to the individuals that own us. You don't think Roman and Sheikh Mansour want some return on that one day? this is a chance to bank hundreds of millions in one go. Exactly the pay day that these men are used to and you think they are going to turn it down?

Same people on here crying about this are also on the transfer forum demanding Haaland, Nuno Mendes, Messi and Mbappe and think Sheikh Mansour should keep pulling his credit card out.

He's already made his money back in spades with an asset worth far more than he has invested. I don't think Sheikh Mansour needs his money in cash to be honest.

The battlefield looks different this morning.

Retreat!

With regards to what Tolmie posted, just imagine if this agreement in principle from ourselves was hatched with us to then leak the intention of its creation, forcing the instigators to resign and leave their UEFA/ECA positions, show the clubs involved true colours to the world

All whilst still meeting with ceferin to say - we are not the enemy, look at what your supposed glory clubs have done

We then pull out leaving this lot pissing into the wind

fingers crossed
I can't find tholmies post, what did it say

We are the only debt free club joining this shambles. It wasn't designed for us. It was designed for poorley run clubs to get a guarenteed income and a regular taste of football that they neither deserve nor have the quality to compete in.

Take it immediately.

Unless we want to be irrelevant in this new global league and watch Real and Barca dominate

Problem is, we become even more irrelevant than we previously were, going back with tail between our legs to UEFA.

Tebas in now on their payroll and he was gunning for us even before this breakaway.

This is about taking power away from Uefa. It comes to something when they can claim the moral high ground at present.

Damned if we do, damned if don't.

And they’ll want a World Series of Soccer where they bring in a US team(s) and others from strong TV and sponsorship territories. It’ll happen!
Completely agree Gary.
With US owners at the head of this it’s only a matter of time.
Streaming, (cutting the cord or connected TV as they term it) is gathering huge pace in the US.
I would imagine Amazon would be all over this when US clubs have a chance to compete.
