The fact nothing has changed yet proves we were fully complicit.
The fall out has been enormous and still no rowing back.
This was surely expected and they still think its right.

Something stinks, it makes no commercial sense for city to involve themselves. We are not united/liverpool/madrid/barca. We are still a 75%+ local fan base that has been completely alienated.

If we hadn’t signed up we would have won plenty of points with uefa and im sure our relationship with them would have been permanently mended and I’m sure we’d be able to influence the crap we think they do.

Mate what is it you wanted us to do when UEFA was looking at your books? Ask to have look too so we can form our own decision? They were legal contracts.

That information was confidential and between you and UEFA. We would have no knowledge on the case and we cant oppose or defend you when we dont know what was involved.

But when it was put to clubs that you should be banned we said no. Honestly dont think there was more we could do to support in that instance
There wasn't. Just ignore him.

I really hope City beat Chelsea to the punch and announce first that they are withdrawing.

At worst a joint statement by both clubs. Being the second club to announce leaving doesn't carry as much weight.

It’s going to be tough to swallow if Chelsea withdraw before us.

A lot to gain from being the first one to do so

Well if we dont join and we are stuck sharing the 50p that BT pay UEFA for next years CL rights. PSG and Bayern don't give a fuck, they own their leagues anyway. The only way we stay competitive is being in the ESL.
Err, if City stay in PL and the other 5 leave (or stay and play their 2nd string) we would dominate our league like Bayern or PSG.

Nobody needs further income when you are a billionare but you don't become one without taking offers like these when its on the table.

Sadly, does this deal not pretty much end the need for fans attending games?

We can charge £1 per person to watch a game and could have 150m people watching over the world on CityTV, £150m off one game. I think most clubs are lucky to get anywhere near that after a good season and all the match day revenue combined.

Gary Neville quoted those figures for what the rags could generate on their in-house tv channel for a live game. Unfortunately we are nowhere near that.

I can't believe we've attracted the sort of fans that want a Manchester City like this
