The Leeds game won't be easy despite us hitting 7 against them at home.
With the Burnley win today it drags them back in it.
However Newcastle are playing very well and I expect them to give Liverpool a decent game on Saturday, let's hope the officials do their job.

I get what you mean, but probabilities haven't changed significantly, let alone *enormously more*. See 538, it's 65:35 City.

Both teams will have more difficult final 5 games than Watford/Everton. Liverpool's are more challenging on paper, because they play Newcastle away just 60 hours after Villarreal and because they visit Villa and Southampton around games vs Spurs and Chelsea.
Slippy Steve will help them out in the villa game

Both of us are going to drop points before the end of the season. Might as well sit back and enjoy it as much as we can.

Results went as expected this weekend. You would always expect teams going for the title to beat teams in the relegation zone, especially at home.
Was hoping today may have been like that Manchester derby game in 2001 when The Rags were going for the title and we were battling the drop when we got a very respectable draw at their place (the one when Keane assaulted Haaland senior) not to be though.
Doesn't change anything really, we are still a point ahead (though the goal differences are slightly closer now) and we still need to be looking at winning every game.

It's more likely that both teams drop points than that they don't: the chance that both teams will win their remaining games, i.e. 10 wins, is less than 20 %.

There are contextual factors that are difficult to factor in: injuries, luck, officials, fixtures schedule, etc. Liverpool won today but had difficulties. If the same happens vs Vilarreal, they might not be fresh enough for the remaining games, especially Newcastle. We have 4 days before Leeds and may have both Cancelo and Walker at that point...

Agree that we should just enjoy the ride and see what happens.
