I've said all along Spurs were never in the title race (though got pilloried for it). They had a run of easy fixtures from Oct-Jan and did OK in them. Spurs never had the metality for a title challenge. They flattered to deceive, that is all. Ah ha! You may well be right. But we have the population and money to do it. Surely the FA should be capable of funnelling some of the Billions of pounds into our game in the right way.
I'm not arsed about England though, I'll be pleased if we do well but won't be upset when we go out. I have nothing like the emotional attachment to England that I do with City.

You'd think at some point in the last 20 years, we may have made a go of it.
