They've been better than everyone else, and that's it.
Plus, nobody knows what that success is just yet. Top four, runners up or champions. Either way they have had a freak season where the regular contenders have been relatively poor. They've had a run of luck with injuries and some average players playing out of their skin amongst two or three of the best players in the league this season. Fair fucks to them wherever they finish.

No injuries, a hard working midfield, and defenders who just defend and are well drilled). Oh, and a cracking long ball game (it's not counter attacking, it's long ball). No great secret really, they just have the players that make their system work. Also helps that the squad isn't full of superstars who must get game time, so the manager isn't under pressure to change the team.
