I believe he was born in his parent’s house, smack, bang in the middle of Irlam. Probably.

It’s a complicated business though. These days, there is no full maternity unit at Salford Royal. So mothers from Salford can give birth in hospitals in Manchester or Bolton and still request ‘Salford’ as the place of birth on their child’s birth certificate.
 
On Pointless today.
Name players from ourselves or the rags team from FA cup final, including substitutes.
It was the 2023 final where Gundogan scored that early goal.
The contestantd went for Garnacho and Philipps, both pointless.
As far as I could make out 3 other City players were pointless
Stones, Mahrez and Ortega.

Married at first sight, The mask singer, Love Island, Four in a bed, The Kardashians, etc...etc...etc...etc... are all now popular television programmes that I'm told that much of the population watch.

Of course the contestants (or at least a certain generation of them) are getting thicker.

I'd say that 99% of the audience for those programmes are probably thicker than the 'contestants'

The contestants (or as I said, a certain generation of them) ARE the audience of those programmes, they come from the same sub-sectional pool of the population.

Give it 20 more years of people watching that crap and we'll be living in an Idiocracy.

It's similar to when people say that school exams are "getting easier", which is true from the perspective of the previous generations experiences, but not from the students' perspective.

I saw a young woman on TV the other day saying that she'd bought an "advocado" but didn't know what to do with it...

I'd love to have been in the shop when she was buying it. She probably just stood there staring at the pile of fruit for twenty minutes.
