The "which famous person died today" thread

Not seen that footage before and didn't know the 1st Track..
Could you let me know what year they were recorded
All seems a bit solo Michael Jackson....
Cheers.
1981 Mama Jama, I remember doing a really shite two-step to it at my High School disco because i'd fucked my right foot up playing football said morning.

Everlasting Love dropped much earlier, sometime round the mid 70s.

Thanks for that.
I'm a bit of a mover to music ...and other week had to swerve a good friends 40th birthday do,as id sprained my ankle playing footy two nights before,....I just knew that if I went out.if there was music ..,I'd be dancing ..and probably then be off footy for two weeks...

It was a hard decision to make, and FOC springs to mind ;)

Nice one, keep at it.
I've not partook in a game of football for over 2 decades now, i am tempted to look at maybe 5 a side or even walking football, so long as it doesn't compromise my muay thai.

At 58 i just couldn't cut it on a dance floor anymore, that said though ...i still get to strut my stuff n shake a leg/s by getting my groooooove on every week jam skatin' down at the roller rink :-)

Raul Malo of the Mavericks now too. One of the best and maybe underrated singers of recent times. Took my old fella to see him at Cheltenham town hall years ago, a solo acoustic gig, very well supported by Kim Richie. Never did many things just dad n’ lad together, but that was a great night and thought of my Dad when I saw this earlier.
I saw him last year absolutely brilliant show - real musicianship. Also he did one of the greatest covers of Blue Moon

Knew he was very poorly but somehow missed this. Sad news only 60. Had a great voice. I know The Mavericks version of Blue Moon is a bit divisive but when he 'howls' the high notes it's a lot more tuneful than SS1's howling during follow you everywhere!

Conflicting reports, but more real than false, that the actress who played Joan in Early Doors has passed. The most credible one on the official Early Doors fan page.

Sad if so. Her and Eddie were brilliant.

Just reading the same.
Post on FB by her husband.

Joan and Eddie one of the great sitcom double acts.

Only recently finished watching Generation Kill. This is so sad.
This has really shocked me. Superb actor and one reason I watch the series every year.

The news has really upset me
