Winter is the archetypal posh boy who thinks his opinion is more imprtant than anybody elses. Reminds me of a public schoolboy (is he related to Cameron in any way) who has been bred to believe they are above or better than other people. Some may say he is a respected voice in journalism, I say he is a ****. Let's face it, he doesn't have a lot of competion in the sports journo world really, Martin Samuel that's about it. Fuck Winter and the snotty nosed horse he rode in on.

He is a great journalist and that's all that matters however jealous you may be that he doesn't have a salf of the earth accent.

You are right I don't like him, don't quite see how that makes me a snob. His being a great journalist is a matter of opinion, as I said he doesn't face a great deal of competition in his field. I do prefer salt of the earth type people no doubt, there is a reason they are described that way. Oh and stay out of The Cellar, we don't like your type down here ;)

Lets face it - there has to be a whipping boy - someone has to get it now there is no Cookie Monster. It's usually the Chairman of a club, but that would be just silly !
Unless someone on here knows exactly what his brief is ( get me a world class player for as little as possible and on as lttle as possible) then we don't know if he is crap.

Yes, yes it should.

Winter is in Citys pocket. Some of the sentences in that article were laughable bullshit. Should be grateful that we arent selling players? Using RSC reservations as a sign of Marwoods judgement? Saying he should be respected as a top class football administrator because he was a pundit? Stating that Marwood signed youth players which might one day be good so Mancini should count his lucky stars?

This has got to be a parody piece.

And Marwood is incompetent and it has nothing to do with our transfer activity. If we sign Messi and Ronaldo it doesn't change the fact that Marwood is incompetent
