This transfer window/Marwood

Re: Winter defends Marwood

Reverse paranoia from Damocles."Winter is in City's pocket" Seems there are many diverse opinions on Winter.I think Billy Shears more than adequately covered the other points.

We have a great squad, chosen by some good managers and a good scouting team.
We signed many of them by giving them ridiculous wages and massively overpaying their agents. Now any contract renewal is ten times harder, agents don't exactly like us because we've had to scale back on their fees that they used to take the piss on costing us Hazard and the like, and we have no chance of selling a ny players because of it.

Apart from that, and tge other things mentioned, he's done super

If you can think of a way to get a team from Shite to Premier League Champions in a quicker time, without paying over the odds in fees and wages, apply for his f'kin job, you dick.

Re: Winter defends Marwood

If Marwood was deliberatly holding up transfer or in any way acting against their instructions then the owners would do domething about it

They aint so whatever he is doing he is doing in accordance with the full support of the owners or doing as the owners have instructed.

This blame Marwood shit it bollocks

No body knows what the books look like here on this forum and nobody on this forum understand exactly how FFP will work - can i sugges that our transfer dealings to date reflect that our owners and Marwood do know this or at very least best placed to understand the implications of not meeting the FFFP

but why have the powers that be waited until the last two weeks to get anything done?

Because you can't just snap your fingers and demand that clubs sell players that you want to buy. Especially if we taking a more prudent approach to transfers now (a club directive, not a Marwood directive) you can't expect to be able to run around different clubs BOOTW getting the deals done whenever you want.

FWIW, we signed Nasri two games into last season, and Milner two games in the season before so it's not a totally unusual situation.
