Ticket Prices

The point is ticket prices are ridiculously high unless you a season ticket holder
Families & fans of the future are priced out
£240 for a family tomorow !!!!!
Season ticket holders only need to go to between 6 or 8 games and they are quids in
Heaven knows what the fan base will be like in 2 years never mind 10 years time
Yet we've sold 99.9% tickets for tomorrow.

Why take part in this " silly discussion then"
Many price reductions in Tesco plus they put the yellow stickers on at 4 pm pure bargain
City can charge what they want and they will
That's why thousands of tickets were left for Brentford game and hundreds left for tomorow
That's why thousands of City fans & there families will watch the game in there house & why loads of mates will watch it in the pub
And why the atmosphere comes in for criticism
City's ticket policy has driven thousands of fans away & are driving thousands more slowly but surely away from watching City live
They would not make a loss at having a sensible sustainable ticket policy
Wonder when the first £100 ticket At the Etihad will be and how many will be queing up to get one
You make some good points mate, I hope you email or write to the club about this, whether they reply or not is another matter, they can’t even answer the phone these days.

Thats been the case for about 10 -15 years though, maybe longer So I doubt it will change much in the next 2.

I have been in touch with Danny Wilson over last few months & he invited me to come & meet up with him
I gave him some dates ( for last week ) but he not back to me yet

Yeah as a one off game? I bet they couldn't afford it on a regular basis. It's a joke.
Match day ticket buyers don’t go on a regular basis though otherwise they’d buy a s/c. I buy match day ticket 5 or 6 times a year bexause that’s all I can make. To be honest the price of a ticket being £30 or £55 makes little difference to me because when I take into account travel food, hotels the difference of up to £25 on the ticket is a fraction of the cost of going to a game for me.
The biggest factor on which games I go to, and I would guess. Most match day buyers are kick off times and days.

It's just a pity all the youngsters and Families that went to the Fulham game can't aford to go to this one or Liverpool or Chelsea or the rags
Wonder how many that paid £63 for tomorow went to Fulham game !!!

because they can. We're owned by Billionaires not charity. Yes they could if they wanted take a loss but that's not in the nature of capital.

You all know this so why do we have these silly discussions all the time? Why don't City lower the prices cos it's not fair on fans? Well why don't Tesco reduce their prices?
We will not be successful all the time , and the club will then rely on a hardcore support , the tourists and day trippers will latch onto the next flavour of the month , and our current base support is definitely older generation you only have to look round the ground on a match day so our younger fan attendance wil not increase

But football is now a hardnosed business and has been for years , the sentimentality of wanted your local fans to attend your local football team has long gone ,its whoever has the money .But thank god for Southport F.C. , when i dont want to be rinsed by MCFC for £63 i can go along for my now local football fix for £12 , its not what i prefer as a born and bred Mancunian but like you stated Tesco dont drop their prices so why should City when demand exceeds supply.
Its not personal , its business.

That's fine if you go on your own but cost prohibitive for families
Maybe one day the club will wake up & smell the roses and make the majority of games a reasonable price for everyone not just the ones they think fans can't be arsed going to
Even on here so many different views about ticket pricing and policies so I wonder what is In store for the future
Let's hope for 3 points tomorow

Some people can't get a season ticket? City really need to give there head a wobble in my opinion. Now the prices for household bills are going to double, its going to be a choice between food or football sadly. We live in hope that prices will reflect this, but some how I doubt. I'm lucky enough to have a season ticket.
